Looks like an old Gravely. Know what you could try?
Replace about half your crankcase oil with straight 90-weight
gear oil next time you change. That engine has a lot of hours
and at this point it won't mind it. I use 50 weight oil in all my
old engines. Cuts down the smoke til you can do a rebuild.
Old tiller does the job, though, doesn't it? That's a nice looking
garden!
