this is so great - my 13 yr old has to ride Pink bus to his summer program so I like to sing the song while at the bus stop w/him and he HATES it -- so I had to share your vid ... I'm thinking he's starting to like it a bit now. That Elf lady might has something to do with it though, more than anything else. LOL
This is like my all time favorite song. I use to request it and listen it on the Rock n' Roll Oldies show on Saturday nights when I was in elementry school. When I met my long time (can you believe it's been more than 10 years!!!) friend Benita she had never heard of the song so I would always sing it to her to make her laugh.

When I was about 3 years old, I told everyone that when I grew up I wanted to be a 'Purple hat band", lol, not knowing at all what one was.
