I go for bleach... mainly because it's way longer, and never gets boring. Death note on the other hand, became really boring after L died. For me, that's the part where the anime ended and light won. Near was the stupidest thing to put in the anime, he just ruined it. Death note is still great tough...

I will say that the begining of Bleach had talent but now Bleach is one of the worst manga's out there at least I think so. I see Bleach as it's own story not a complete copy of something but there are many elements in there that you see in other famous manga's. Meanwhile Death Note was 100 percent original it was something never heard of before about a high school boy finding a supernatural notebook where he writes their names they die. Complete original!!!

This was pretty good! It fit almost perfectly. It's kind of hard to compare Death Note and Bleach but they are both my absolutely favorite animes!!! I LOVED IT!!!

It's as simple as this Death Note has a better story, better characters, better artwork it owns Bleach. And Death Note was not based off of Bleach, the writer just wanted something new and original besides she or he loved shinigami.

@Ragensu64 Naruto Shippuudens story is a million times better than Bleach. And im not a narutard im saying storywise the story of Bleach has sucked for quite a long time now. And that's because Death Note was short but it was made into multiple movies, video games and novels. And more people enjoyed the originality of Death Note than with Bleach.

death note and bleach are two completely different animes so for me its difficult to compare. But i did enjoy enjoy wathcing death note more though. everything about death note, the characters, the plot, the animation/drawing, the emotions,, the suspense, the timing, the music, the openings, the endings, even the small minifights (b/w light and L) were all perfect. The writer of death note was a fucking genius. i hope it went farther than 37 episodes tho =/. alothough i think bleach is also epic

i can see what ya saying, I've watched Death Note and i'm watching bleach, Death Note was an intense psychological anime, if you missed part of an episode... you were out of the loop and didn't know what was happening, severly...
