These bahangka's weren't only donated to the Municipaility of San Pedro but to other LGU's affected by Ondoy and organizations like the the Red Cross. The design for the Bahangka as well the supervision of the construction were provided by the Philippine Home Boatbuilders Yacht Club (PHBYC), while materials, equipment and labor were provided by Emco plywood, Cord Chemicals and Polymer Products and Designs Ligna.
