this is obviously Eric Gordon Jr (first near alley-oop) and Derrick Rose (second near alley-oop) in high school. Even if you can't recognize their faces the way they play in these two clips is very similar to their NBA selves. Derrick Rose would pass the ball around or look indecisive and then try to sneak a dunk in on the unsuspecting defense, and Gordon is a pretty damn good dunker as well and has that ugly but very effective ball handle today.

Do you know that Rose has been the go to guy since game 1 of the season? Gordon rode the bench for the first month and since he's started he has exploded. He recently had a streak of 24 games of 15 plus points. Rose didn't do that. He also had a 41 point game, Rose hasn't done that. Also, the bulls game is revolved around Rose, so other teams plan AGAINST Rose. If we didn't have Rose, we would definetly not be in the playoffs right now.
We beat the Celtics and lost to the Cavs by a couple points in which we were up 19 in the fourth. I agree Rose is great man. After the playoffs of course my views have changed some. Gordon has just as bright of a future right as Rose.. but as of right now Rose is better. Rose showed the makings of a SUPERSTAR in the playoffs vs Boston, not just an All star. Rose showed heart and took charge of a team that hadn't been to the playoffs for a while and pushed the defending champs to 7 games. Regardless Rose and Gordon are both top 10 future players here in the next couple years.

Yea the Thunder are sick. Durant is hands down the most underrated player in the league. I like that he crushed some of the leagues top defenders like Kobe last year yet is humble enough to say he's not all star level. He might be the most unguardable guy in the league right now. Yea Harden will probably be second place in votes for rookie of the year behind Blake. Westbrook is very talented but needs to be more consistent and learn to run the team.

I can agree there but KD also shows an interest in Defense and is already putting better overall stats than Tmac did besides that year he put up 32 ppg. If we include the Pts in the games they both start (not played in total), Gordon would probably overtake Rose. 1 on 1 might/ could be a different story.
Actually Bargnani is quite good now, Bogut is decent, Oden is still developing, and Rose is pretty good for a rookie point guard. Eric Gordon is very good though, he can shoot the three, get to the hole, and play tough D, so I think he will be an all star soon enough.

Gooden is playing great because it's a contract year. He's also shooting too much and turning the ball over alot but I have been impressed by his play.
Rose and Gordon are both very athletic, Rose is quicker but Gordon is stronger. Gordon dominates Rose in shooting, but Rose arguably beats him at attacking the basket. Rose is a pass-first type of pg that you can rely on 2 run ur offense, Gordon is a scorer that can drive on u or drain it from 5 ft behind the three-point line, Rose is a pure point while Gordon is a combo-guard, Personally I gotta give it to Rose though, he's a rarer product with a great winning mentality but they're both great.

Eric Gordan is a great player hands down. Im pretty sure everyone knows since that Kelvin Sampson incident he wasn't averaging as many points as he was before. He lost the confidence in his jumper because he really had great chemistry with sampson and it really hurt him when he had to resign. Inconsistency is something we don't have to worry about when it comes to ej. I believe he will excel in the nba.
Eric gordon had been pretty non existent after the Illinois-Indiana game in champaign. His numbers kinda shrunk compared to his beginning numbers. I think he got shocked from that game, only reason he had 19 points is because he made lik 11 of them from the free throw line on lousy calls. He didn't show he was a leader after that game. DRose on the other hand was bangin the entire tournament, Eric Gordon might be a good pro but Rose will be a great one.

On the NCAA tournament Eric Gordon didn't do that well during the match and Indiana University lost in the first round of the tournament. I think in that game he on made 6 or 10 points.

He held Kobe to 17 points which is a big feat in itself. I just think that Gordon is far more unique. Guy has Vince Carter range with Dwyane Wade slashing abilities AND Jason Kidd type guard strength. Never had their been anything like him. I guarantee all of you within 3 years Gordon will be contending to lead the league in scoring. He shoots around 40 percent from 3 and 86 plus percent from the free throw line. Kid is a beast.

Eric Gordon could be one of the most deadly scorers of all time when he retires. Nobody has his range plus that explosive Dwyane Wade first step like him. Do you know that Rose has been the go to guy since game 1 of the season? Gordon rode the bench for the first month and since he's started he has exploded. He recently had a streak of 24 games of 15 plus points. Rose didn't do that. He also had a 41 point game, Rose hasn't done that. You can't compare someone who's been a starter all year and is a point guard to a SG who had to fight off the bench to even play. Of course stats will show Rose is better.

Also, the bulls game is revolved around Rose, so other teams plan AGAINST Rose. If we didn't have Rose, we would definetly not be in the playoffs right now.

We beat the Celtics and lost to the Cavs by a couple points in which we were up 19 in the fourth. I agree Rose is great man. If i could trade scrub Baron Davis and a first round pick or 2 for him i would do it in a heartbeat. He's amazing. After the playoffs of course my views have changed some. Gordon has just as bright of a future right as Rose.. but as of right now Rose is better. Rose showed the makings of a SUPERSTAR in the playoffs vs Boston, not just an All star. Rose showed heart and took charge of a team that hadn't been to the playoffs for a while and pushed the defending champs to 7 games. Regardless Rose and Gordon are both top 10 future players here in the next couple years.

Yea the Thunder are sick. Durant is hands down the most underrated player in the league. I like that he crushed some of the leagues top defenders like Kobe last year yet is humble enough to say he's not all star level. He might be the most unguardable guy in the league right now. Yea Harden will probably be second place in votes for rookie of the year behind Blake. Westbrook is very talented but needs to be more consistent and learn to run the team.

We can easily admit that Rose is good. How good? Not as good as his hype. Afterall, 1st round picks typically get their hype. aka greg oden, andrea bargiani, andrew bogut. All these guys were regarded as futures of nba. we look at them now and their just decent/ alright Eric gordon went against the odds, and is outpreforming Rose(&Oden). If we include the Pts in the games they both start (not played in total), Gordon would probably overtake Rose. 1 on 1 might/ could be a different story.

Gordon is your sixth man, Hinrich is a back up, Gooden is a shit player. Deng is the only player who has been affecting your team by being hurt. Rose and Gordon are both very athletic, Rose is quicker but Gordon is stronger. Gordon dominates Rose in shooting, but Rose arguably beats him at attacking the basket. Rose is a pass-first type of pg that you can rely on 2 run ur offense, Gordon is a scorer that can drive on u or drain it from 5 ft behind the three-point line, Rose is a pure point while Gordon is a combo-guard, Personally I gotta give it to Rose though, he's a rarer product with a great winning mentality but they're both great.

agree, but if you think about it that brand is back from injury and kaman had a very good season and whith brand back (if he resign, i hope he will)that creates him more space under the basket and he gets an extra help on offensive and defensive end. Then you have maggette, mobley and thornton and you get a hell of a team!

of course eric gordon has a better jumper than rose-he's a SHOOTING GUARD(SG) not a point like D. Rose. Gordon can shoot the lights out but this cat is small for SG in the NBA- 6'3 with out shoes???? And he's not runnin the point either for the clips cuz they just got Baron Davis. But Davis/gordon is a hella athletic backcourt- just kinda small.

1) eric gordon was the name of the kid who played early mj in space jam, but it wasn't the eric gordon who played at NC then IU.
2) they call him EJ bc his fathers name is also eric, so they call him EJ for Eric Jr, not Eric Jordan.

EJ struggled at the end of the year cause he wasnt playing well, it had NOTHING to do with sampsons departure...he was off way before that. nonetheless the kid can ball and once he works on his ball handling he'll be fine

Eric Gordan is a great player hands down. Im pretty sure everyone knows since that Kelvin Sampson incident he wasn't averaging as many points as he was before. He lost the confidence in his jumper because he really had great chemistry with sampson and it really hurt him when he had to resign. Inconsistency is something we don't have to worry about when it comes to ej. I believe he will excel in the nba.

Eric gordon had been pretty non existent after the Illinois-Indiana game in champaign. His numbers kinda shrunk compared to his beginning numbers. I think he got shocked from that game, only reason he had 19 points is because he made lik 11 of them from the free throw line on lousy calls. He didn't show he was a leader after that game. DRose on the other hand was bangin the entire tournament, Eric Gordon might be a good pro but Rose will be a great one.

Eric Gordon is a good player. He should mature a little bit and just become a little better then maybe he can be drafted in the NBA next year.
On the NCAA tournament Eric Gordon didn't do that well during the match and Indiana University lost in the first round of the tournament. I think in that game he on made 6 or 10 points.

Strength isn't anything in basketball its all about your skills and Beasley has the skills to play the pro game. You see all these guys who are strong and super athletic such as a Shawn Marion. Terrible shooter but is super athletic and played with Nash who has the best pg skills in the NBA but Marion isn't shit on his own in Miami

um once again your lack of knowledge in basketball is pretty poor. You do have to be strong in order to play in the NBA. There maybe few exceptions such as guys like Prince and Durant, but they cover up for it because they have the longest arms in the NBA. Durant is good but he will never be a superstar unless he bulks up. Look at the best or better than average players in the NBA and name one player who is not strong. don't even say Nash or Iverson because they are strong and tough as well

It's definantly Rose>= Mayo> Beasley>>Gordon. First off Beasly is the most overrated player. He's weak AS HELL and really needs to get better and stronger before he goes pro. Sure hes dominating now but just look at the Wisconsin game. My skepticism proved true when he got exposed by the big,tall country boy they put on him. weak pac 10??? do you even know how to play basketball or even know what basketball is?? pac 10 was the strongest conference by far this year. also USC and Mayo had one of the toughest schedules as they played teams that were ranked in top5 at some point of the season 5 times. UCLA (2x), Memphis, Kansas, and Washington state. Who did beasley play other than Kansas(2x)?? mostly no named schools. I think beasley will be a better pro as he is far more dominant in size and athleticism than mayo
