Govt cracked down on demonstrators brutally with tear gas and yes even bullets during Kwangju massacre. I'm an adult now I now live and work in SE Asia. Lets face the truth-dictatorships in past history have proven to be more effective than a democracy in many ways. Park's legacy is a testament to that.
