  • 2 questions. First: Where is Warm Springs? Second: What does RCL mean?

  • @Railfanable: Warm Springs is located between Fremont and Milpitas (in California) and RCL = Remote Control Locomotive, where the crew can control it by radio, and do not have to be inside the cab to operate it.

  • Good job, good video

  • How often are those MP15DCs out on the road like this?

  • Not too often, but it does happen periodically, especially when the switchers are ferried to maintenance facilities. I've seen it numerous times, including at Rochelle, Illinois - it's in the 2nd Rochelle video I posted.

  • Very good coverage dude, awesome!

  • awesome video

  • Quality video & much appreciated. 5* & Fav

  • Nice shots! I gotta get over to Warm Springs soon, I've never been there. Maybe next week...

  • Awesome collection. Great camera work.

  • nice sunste, and BNSF Engine consist 5*

  • Wow, funky consist on the MMIRV. I guess with the plant closing, there isn't a need for switchers and the geep 15's anymore.

  • I think the switchers were taken to Roseville for the 92 day inspection, and got rotated around the system. There are more MP15DC's in Milpitas now.
