That's Pimp C's point. Just because you're in the southern part of the map, don't mean that you're in the "South". Technically, Arizona is in the "south", but there's no connection between Arizona and Alabama. Virgina is technically the South, but they're more influenced by East coast rap.

@JamzThaGreat The reason California and Arizona and new mexico ect aren't considered the south is because they weren't adapted as states to the United States until after the colonies on the East coast. Lots of people on the West coast only consider washington, Oregon and Ca the only west coast states. Arizona was the 48th state before Hawaii and Alaska. I mean virginia is technically a southern state and it borders maryland and part of its territory is technically DC.
