Shark Night sucked ass. The acting was worse than any other shark movie I've ever seen, the plot was painful, and I think I remember seeing the animatronic sharks for less than 5 minutes of the shitfest film. It turned into bad torture porn and by the end, you just want everyone to die. Deep Blue Sea is amazing. Sorry if this seems rude.

Great underrated film. The only bad thing I guess was the cgi, But it really wasn;t that bad for it's time. Not to mention the robot sharks looked great, better than'Jaws's Bruce. I think this was the last true shark horror movie ever made. The Reef comes close, but not that scary. Still personaly I think Jaws was better, but I think this was a bitmore scary. Just my opinion.

This (with the obvious exception of Jaws) is the best modern shark movie you'll find. The shark footage, animation and acting are of a level I thought impossible in shark flicks :p

I've seen this movie. I honestly have to say that this is truly one of the best shark movies out there. It has a unique plot (whereas most shark movies simply deal with tourists, beaches, etc.), a great cast (LL Cool J and Samuel L. Jackson), and really good special effects. Like 5613n8 said, it's like Jaws mixed with Jurassic Park. I don't think this movie receives enough credit. In my opinion, it's right up there with Jaws and Jaws the Revenge.
