Well she didn't necessarily destroy the song, but Jon would easily blast her away. But the guitar playing, all I'm gonna say is that Richie is the only one that can play this song on guitar properly, and without him playing his solo it just doesn't sound that good.

Jordin as great evey week besides this I'll admit. However the judges did consistently tell Melinda that she was in a totally different league from EVERYONE each week.  Her and Jordin were def the 2 best in the competition though!

It's not bad. I just don't see anything special about her. She doesn't really look or act like a performer. Most big name artists incorporate the audience into the show. They try to make each & every audience member feel like they were singing right to them. She didn't hardly even attempt that. She focused too much on the vocals.
