  • What programs does this one have?

  • Can I use any Drawing Program like Paint Tool SAI?

  • @thebrawlgamerxD my friend uses it on sai so u should be able to

  • If you use it 3 times a week, how fast can the nib get worn?

  • Your voice is like JH voice ;p

  • How much is this??

  • I want that damn tablet! I suck at the mouse :p

  • does the tablet still work to this day?

  • @mattehISme Yup like a charm!

  • Thanks, this was helpful

  • does anyone know where i can get a cheep one that is good and new?

  • Actually, the pricing now for the Fun tablet is now $200 XD

  • Comment removed

  • for that price, it's a steal IMO. But I've got my eyes on the Cintiq >_>

  • 2.33 bottom right, he drew a wiener :P

  • Which bamboo was this? D: Casue there are like different kinds.

  • do you think after a long use, the actual part where you place the pen will get scratched?

  • @Gustavo0929 you shouldn't be pushing that hard on it, so no

  • what if u like drawing more closer to the pad? but still want a little line?

  • @mayoshirika in most programs, you can turn off pressure sensitivity and then you just turn down the size of the brush :D

  • @hiparkway

    oh... okay ^^ :) thanks

  • great review helped alot, i have like 2 questions i would love if you awnsered...

how much did you buy this wacom bamboo tablet for, and where did you buy it? please respond, and nice vid thumbs up :)

  • tip for screen recording: use a magnifier lens taped to camera.. makes a HUGE difference

  • This might be a silly question, but this would work with a laptop just as well as a desktop computer, right?

  • What is the difference between the different Bamboo's ?

    And the Intuos?

  • hey where did u buy this?

  • hey, does photo shop come with the tablet if not does it need photoshop could i use gimp?

how much is photoshop software if i need it?

  • @YellingYaz Psst download it illigal lol

  • Thanks for the reveiw, im gonna get one on my birthday. ^_^

  • kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk que porra caralho!

  • okay, cool demos... im going to get mine friday and I wanted to see helpful it would be creating my logo for my new business, this really helped a lot thanks ^_^

  • hey is it hard cuz u cant see were u draw on the pad!!

  • There is a learning curve but you'll adjust very quickly

  • i dont know how to use photoshop well either! will i learn that with learnin the pad?

  • Depends what you want to do. If you want to draw you gotta know how to draw first. If you want to photoshop photos then you don't need a tablet unless you're getting really creative! :-)

  • ok i can draw... u did that batman thing and thats tite!!

  • @srvwannabe r u sure cause im afraid of that to?

  • 2:02 is absolutely amazing for Arabic calligraphy!

  • @ahmd84 thats arabic?

  • @ahmd84 Wow, I think you just managed to come up with the most boring and useless way of using the pressure sensitivity of the tablet.

  • How durable are they? I wanna get one but I have a shared computer so my stuff gets a little roughed up by family members. Controllers, webcam, headphones, ect. I even had a JamStudio tablet a long time ago but my brother broke it since he didn't like how much space it took up and shoved it off the desk.

  • so if you were to touch the tablet with your finger, would it still make a mark if you were drawing or something? or is it just the pen that makes marks?

  • Only touches with the pen are sensed by the tablet.

  • @OsakaKillerBunny Its just the pen :)

  • there's a pen and touch tablet, a touch tablet, and a pen only tablet.

  • Its multi touch

  • does photoshop recognizes the sensitivity levels?

  • Question, what about using the pen to edit written documents, like in MS Word. Can you use it for that function? Kind of like the way you would write notes and highlight a hard paper copy?

  • There is a function for word recogniser, but it would be much easier to just type it.

  • i got one, and i love it!! ^¬^ its so fun to use, and surprisingly easy!! i still need to practice before i can draw properly, but i'm fine with drawing cartoons so far XD

  • does this actually have a screen on the tablet..? like you can actually see whats on the monitor on the tablet

  • no. once you get a new tablet, there's a learning curve to get used to which point is what on the screen.

  • no...

  • No, only the really expensive ones, like $1,000 dollars.

  • are the artistic results better and possibly easier to get than drawing on paper?? also how easy is it to create textures, hair, shine etc. on the tablet??

  • That depends on the software you're using, and what it offers.

  • hmm.. lets say Photoshop. i'm deciding whether to get one, and if i did i'd also get photoshop probably

  • Well photoshop has plenty of nice brushes, so you get some really good results. Remember that the pen is merely a controlling device - it's just taking place of the mouse.

  • it's definetely better for painting and qiuck selections but it offers more than a mouse :)

  • I just found out that if you mess with the pressure of the pen you get the slight and then strong paintings, about half of the slider works fine but requires harder pressure if you move it more to the right (firm) I found mine working well more to the left but not to the very left about one more to the left from middle of slider :)

  • I aspire to be a graphic designer and this tool seems like the thing for me, its much much cheaper than the other brands I've looked at and its seems to be just as good, if not better. Thanks for the video :)

  • Thanks for the review!

  • I'm getting one for my birthday next thursday *jumps in excitement* X3

  • can u set the pressure on gimp?

  • yes you can. :)

  • y did i get 2 thumbs down?? i was askn a serious question here. btw ty GiletteRazorsharp

  • IM getting one for my birthday!!! :D

  • Me tooo!!! :'D :'D

  • Me three! I'm so excited (it came in the post today but I can't open it until the 7th)!

  • me 2! my birthday is august 21st. whens yours?

  • mine is september 12th :/ i hope it can make my digital art better!! U found it at bestbuy for 60?! Wow!!! Im probably getting mine at the Apple store for $70!

  • im gettin mine toomorrroooww XZDDDDDDDD(spelled tomorrow randomly lolz)

  • =-0 I'm ordering mine tomorrow!!!!

(that emoticon was typed by dropping the keyboard. Wierd)

  • everyone should buy one i really love mine

  • how much does it cost.. i wanna buy one.. you made me really interested on that thing.. XD

    5 stars!!

  • at bestbuy canda it's about $100 plus taxes

  • ohhhh... that kind of pricey but really worth it...

    thanxx!!!

  • Yeah but hes useing the bamboo its really only 60 dollars got mine today!! XD

  • that's the bamboo fun, the bamboo (just bamboo) is cheaper and you can get it cheaper if you order it online, Amazon would be a good site :) , they have everything cheap and they are secured :)

  • only 80$, the cheapest possible tablet out there, and a great one at that.

  • i found one at best buy for $59.99

  • that particular one is 79 dollars

  • this is bascially the same thing as the fun, only bamboo fun comes in different colors, has a useless mouse, and a few extra programs like photoshop...

  • oh god thank you... i had some problem with the pressuer sencetive.. i thought they had forgot it.. and i draw a lot...!

  • oh, something else? dose this "pen" have a second end? kinda like the others? or dose it have just one tip you draw with? if you seen other wacoms they have doubled tips. so yeah...just wondering.

  • It has a drawing tip and an "eraser". I personally do not use the eraser tip at all as it is thick making it inaccurate

  • how do you open the propeties window???

  • i thought you can see what you draw in ur tablet SCREEN?...

  • you need a cintiq for that, its like one thousand bucks...

  • Nice review, I had already put an order on amazon for one when I watched your review.

This is my first tablet, and I am buying it mainly for photoshop drawing and rendering. Based on all the glowing reviews, and the reasonable price of $62.00 with free shipping I decided to give it a shot.

  • im going to grab one from best buy next week ^_^

  • i m gonna buy tommorw to a bambo but i realy want to know of i can draw good wit hit thats why i m actualy buying it XD

  • great review man, im definately buying!

  • cheers donnie, good review

  • the final review hahaa i just watched review 2 it was a circus! :P i had a quick question ever point on the screen is a point on the pade with that being said to work in a smaller space using the full pad i would just zoom in ? right (in photoshop mag glass i mean)

  • yepp, when you zoom in you can work with a small space using the whole pad or at least most of it

  • tytytytytyt getting

  • Hi, great review.

I was wondering, can you select a small space of the screen to work on using the whole pad without zooming out? I always wish I could use my tablet to work on a small region of the screen more accurately.

  • I meant without zooming in.

  • "I'm not claming it's my own though. I'm noT."

You are a funny guy :) And you reviews realllyy helped me out i was looking for something like these reviews, because i want to buy a tablet but i wanted to check out this bamboo, so after seeing your vids about it i'm sure to buy one :)

  • What programm is this?>

  • Its photoshop 7

  • Elements? Any way Thank you!

  • Hey great video, thanks.

  • mine came with Artrage 2.5 and to tell you the truth, if you are doing a drawing/painting from scrath, Artrage is great software. Ink, paint, chalks, pencil, crayon,..all brushes, palet knife,..you can set the sizes..use stencils,.and make your own stencils..

  • DOES IT come with photoshop?.....

or we have buy it our selfs.....

  • No it only comes with the items listed in Part one

  • Two questions.

1 ~ If you get your hand on the pad, will it pick it up?

2 ~ Does it come with the pen?

  • Answer #1- No, this isn't the same technology that you would find in a trackpad on a laptop. The pen and pad have some sort of connection between them that makes it so only the pen will work.

    Answer #2- Yes

  • thank you! I think I'll get it ^-^

One more question, do you know any stores you can get it in Canada? D:

  • No unfortunately I'm not familiar with any. You can always get it online.

  • Thanks anyways ^-^

    I found futureshop has a few :3

  • is this only for bamboo fun or is it for regular bamboo and xp

  • I was wondering if this tablet displayed images on the active area

  • nope

  • What tablet you have? Wacom bamboo MTE-450, or what?

  • What is the difference between this Bamboo tablet and the Bamboo Fun besides the price? It seems this is actually cheaper, i was just wondering if it was the 'lesser tablet'

  • hey just before i ask my Q. i wanted to say that i really like your videos!ok do you know if the bamboo fun has all the fetures the bamboo does?and does the bamboo come with Photoshop Elements like the bamboo fun does?

  • the bamboo only has 512 levels of Pressure Sensitivity on the pen and no software or mouse included. the bamboo fun has 512 levels of Pressure on the Pen & Eraser and is bundled with Photoshop Elements 5.0, Nik Color Efex Pro 2 GE, Painter Essentials 3, and a mouse. it also comes in two sizes and four colors.

  • I just baught the Wacom Bamboo Regular...I tried to use it on photoshop but the strokes wont work in the same way yours does. it wont change thicknesses when i draw. is there something im doing wrong?

  • In the Pen Tablet Properties menu there is a scroll bar labeled "Tip Feel". Set that right at the middle. Did you install the driver software correctly?

  • I fallowed the steps for installation as best i could. as of now it does change its thickness but other times it wont.. im not really sure.

  • Hmm.. first I would tweak the Tip Feel setting a little. Perhaps its not sensitive enough to your touch. If that doesn't work I would uninstall the pen software then reinstall and if that doesn't work I would consider either returning your tablet for a new one or contact Wacom customer service. If you purchased it directly from them they have a excellent return policy. If not then they may be able to provide you with better information. I hope it all turns out well.

  • you must set your brushes in Photoshop to be pressure responsive. Go to your brushes palette and make sure Shape dynamics and Other dynamics are checked. Click the dropdown menu in Control for each of these and choose Pen Pressure. You can then lock these attributes (from the little lock icon) so that they apply for each new brush you select.

  • sorry, that was a reply for

amaq1123, dunno how it got up here...

Anyway, thanks for the overview, I was going to buy this tablet and I needed a clue :D It looks like an excellent tool so far, especially for its price

PS> what monitor do you have? It's impressive :-O

  • Its a really fun tablet. I'm sure you'll love it. I have the Dell E228WFP

  • Awesome review, gave me just the information/video coverage i needed!

    :D

  • were do go to do drawings

  • Any drawing program can utilize this tablet. I'm using Photoshop here but you can use Paint, Illustrator, or any other program that has a drawing utility. This particular tablet does not come with any software other than the proper drivers

  • nice review do some more!

  • Hm, I like the pressure censors, that's for sure! Perfect for an artist like me (who's stuck with a dumb touchpad that comes with every laptop)!
