anterior compartment pain could be distal biceps tendonosis- palpation at the antecubital fossa will increase your suspicion. esp with a history of overuse such as weight lifting, eccentric exercises- watch out for distal biceps avulsion which will have eccymosis, pain and loss of range

Testing pronation and supination in shoulder flexion will give a false result and result in shoulder rotation...
