Horn players for the WIN!

I would have liked to join a group like that. We would play around with it in our section playing horn quartets, but the music available is limited and we didn't have the effort to arrange it ourselves so that died. I had to give up playing professionally because there is no money in it. It is either teach or starve.

I enjoyed this video so much. His words has inspired me, "if you're passionate about something, you'll eventually encounter others who feel just as passionate about the same thing". It's hard, sometimes, to find people who enjoy the same things as you do and sometimes you feel so alone. I would like to achieve what he did in my own art. Ha, my first music teacher said the same thing. "Forget the clarinet, you have brass lips". So my first instrument was the trumpet but I always wanted to play the French Horn. My ears love the horn.

VitralCritic here with a review and I will say although this is not naturally my type of music ( but I do have taste for classical ) I thought this video here was great. somewhere in the world of synthesizers and computers it is hard to appreciate a talent such as this. If you like David Brubeck you would probably like this. It is very inspirational and shines light on an area sometimes forgotten. I give this 5/5

@ritacourt I see, brass instrument are harder to play once you play Renaissance music considering you have to play very high notes. I play the trumpet and it's still hard!
