  • I told my bro in law about 40k TT and he was like "Dude this is like Chess and Risk combined on steroids!"

  • you have really huge army compared to mine

  • I was just curious, can you actually use those homemade things in a real battle e.g. the massive thing at the back? because it looks like its been made from some cut up buckets and glued together :P please reply :D

  • @HJFMovies Yes, you can if you have like minded friends who would rather enjoy the game than bicker over if a model is GW approved or not. GW made rules for building your own vehicles long ago. The big on in the back is actually based on a real model that was produced in the early 90's (though the real one goes for about $400 these days). While I enjoy the game, no hunk of plastic and resin is woth that much to me, so I go with homebuilt stuff.

  • @Trueflights Where can i see these rules? i'd love to make my own stuff, and nice job by the way, it came out quite nicely :P

  • @HJFMovies The original rules for vehicle creation were posted in a White Dwarf long ago. The reprinted a scaled down version in 2nd edition in the Rulebook for the the Dark Millenia expansion. Most recently, you cna find design your own vehicle rules in one of the Forgeworld Imperial Armor books.

  • I just don't understand the no paint thing. How can people play with un-painted stuff?

  • @SauceCaptain exactly the same as you play with painted stuff, but with less color. Actually we have even more time to play since you aren't wasting the time painting.

  • I would be rather embarrassed to actually play with an army painted to this standard, and the stompa is just...what the fuck, lol. Perhaps learn how to paint before putting this on Youtube?

  • @VenomFangTV I could care less about the painting. I would just assume play with plain or primed figures. I play the game to play the game. If I wanted to paint, I would be a painter not a gamer. Perhaps you should only watch and comment on videos of "pro painted" armies?

  • haha, you are such a GEEK!

Wait, why am i watching this video?

  • @bluehawk178 because secretly your geekcurious :)

  • WTF is up with that Stompa it look's like a cartoon

  • Shit paint job.

  • @pappaSmurfable Thanks

  • @MrSidgarr , Da Big Waaah! And Growing :P

  • Wowee that's impressive!

  • cannon penis.

  • The virginity is strong in this one.

  • @MrSidgarr That will be interesting news to my wife and kids.

  • @Trueflights how many did u adopt?

  • @Trueflights Did you donate these to my friends? they got a mass ork waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh on Oct-09

  • @Trueflights that's an expensive set you got there

  • @Trueflights I was only kidding, its a really cool army : <.

  • @Trueflights

    Awesome comeback dude.

  • @MrSidgarr Ignorance is awesome.

  • The big Stompa looks like one of Eggmans creations from the Sonic games :)

  • wow that stompa is HORRID!, you can buy plasticard at hobbie shops its cheap, and its great for making things look orky, as for the "clone" gw models, I don't think you should post "copied" models that show copyright infringment online.

  • @TheMrKnify not sure what you mean by "clone" models. There are only about 4 non GW orks in the entire army. There Are a handful of scratchbuild and customized vehicles, but that is all part of playing the orks. As for the Stompa, I think I like it better the more people dislike it as it means its more unique and thus more Orky.

  • @Trueflights let me re-iterate, how long have you been playing ?

  • @TheMrKnify about 21 years.

  • @Trueflights nice, that explains the duplicate singles, alot of the older ones people have been reforging, with your camera being horribly out of focus makes it hard to see any detail. do you have any hi-res photos?

as for the stompa, i'm sorry but it is horrid. :P lol

i'm in the endever of "scratch" building some deff copta's, more deff less copta, my theme is an all grot army (I hate orks.) but i love gretchin, grots and gnoblars.

  • @TheMrKnify There is a better video of just teh GW part of the army, Not sure if the res is any better, these were taken a while back with an old camera.

  • i didnt watch the whole vid and i didnt read ur deciption but whats the fun showing unpainted models?

secoondly, those tarded big models is why i choose fantasy over 40k

  • virgin level is strong in this one

  • Im sorry. That ork stompa thing looks like a cake ... I want to eat it .

  • @SharkyRullez Toys yes, Tabletop strategy wargames, not by far. Warhammer is like a much more complex version of chess.

  • @Trueflights for me its the same thing because i dont know how to play that if its not on the computer

  • @Trueflights

screw it! toys are cool too!

  • @SharkyRullez you can learn too much about painting techniques and strategy. if you dont agree this game dont search it -.-

  • @jkvk2 I didnt searched it i was searching for warhammer 40k space marine teh game for PC

  • @SharkyRullez ams...nice

  • @SharkyRullez These ain't toys; these are models.

Something you have to work on you're effort, skill, and patience by cutting, combining, and painting.

  • @Rotneybot however i will never understand why to work on youre effort or why to work on your skill to cut this.

im just not the right guy for these "models"

  • @SharkyRullez Well they are models.

If you go to a modeling store (Or Gamers Workshop) then you will not only see the displays, but the boxes that are kinda rectangular like.

So you have to cut them out, attach them the right way, wait till its dried up with glue, then paint them.

If you're not the right guy, then why are you here, making comments about his models?

  • @Rotneybot i have already said that i was looking for the warhammer 40k space marine (the PC game

  • @SharkyRullez The Space Marine game is also for the Xbox 360! :D

  • @Rotneybot I know XD

  • @Rotneybot seriously?

    i have a w40k collection and i love it

    but theyre still toys

  • @zatrutapapugaj I only have a tactical squad for Space Marines, and I love it too.

Now I'm starting to agree with you about the toys.

  • That can't possibly be 25,000 pts

  • dose painting ork boyz black make detail hard to see

  • lol its all faake your a wierd guy to forge all of it buy it hole

  • @henrydrummerboy31 not sure what you mean by its all fake? if you mean that some of the models are not Games Workshop, you are right. Take a look at the other video I have poster where only the GW models are shown.

  • Awesome, truly. The Gargant kind of ruins it though, no offence, but the cannon sticking out between his legs... well, it... It looks like a male reproductive organ, im sorry :(

  • @arafuckingphon1 You can thank Games workshop for designing it that way. I refused to add the nipple mounted cannons that were on the original model though. That was a bit too much.

  • When I first saw your giant thingy (The big one.... idk any of their names D:) I'll admit I thought it looked like crap. Now though, after having taken a good look at it, it has an "Iron-giant" esque feel to it, and it looks pretty damn neat. Considering how toyish the orcs already are (Kila kans, massive heads and arms) I don't think there's anything wrong with having that guy looking so childish. It looks much too clean though, some rust or something might fix it up.

  • lol

is any of this legal in the game

  • @Dragoonotrue considering 90% or so of it is GW models, I would say yes. Not to mention that Orks are probably the one army that they allow scratchbuilt stuff to be used with.

  • Personally, I think the Garagant looks very nice. The beautiful thing about this game is that the creativity is amazing. The things you can do to promote your individuality through your models are basically endless. Well done.

  • Wow I don't want to be the enemy facing you great work

  • This thing is ruined by the hideous scratch built stuff. Only scratch build if you are actually good at it. You might as well just use a mister bucket for your gargant instead of that retarded looking thing. It looks like a badguy from sonic the hedgehog.

  • @LeagueCityBallroom I'll take that as a compliment really. I actually enjoy playing the game itself and could care less about the modeling and painting aspects. crude representations work fine for me as long as people can tell what its supposed to be.

Funny thing is that Great Gargant looks pretty close to the actual model, yet there are always comments about it. Wish I had a real one to put next to it and tried to make people guess which was which.

  • @Trueflights

Dude your gargant fucking rocks. Don't listen to this guy.

  • @Trueflights

    COULDN'T care less*

  • @LeagueCityBallroom I lol'd it really does look like the newer Sonic the Hedgehog robots.

  • @LeagueCityBallroom

People like you give the community a really bad rep. Bite your tongue next time you wish to spit venom under the cover of internet anonymity. How do you get good at scratch building until you actually do scratch building. Obviously logic has failed you, as well as a sense of decency.

  • @RufusThePorkshank well, you shouldn't do a terrible scratchbuild of one of the most powerful units in the game. It's like bringing in a vacuum cleaner and saying it's a emperor titan. I don't want the most awesome thing on the battlefield to look like a piece of shit. Also, if you don't think I would be talking smack about that ugly model in real life, you are sadly mistaken. I would be laughing the second that the came out of the carrying case.

  • @LeagueCityBallroom Of course you wouldn't make stupid/snarky comments in person. The only reason you do it here is because you are covered by the veil of anonymity. Wise up, son. If you were to talk like this in person, I'm confident you'd get a fist to the nose. It's called checks and balances.

  • @RufusThePorkshank Oh look here, we have an internet tough guy that's gonna punch me in the nose for making fun of a bad conversion. Look buddy, just because you are too much of a coward to say what you think in real life, don't project onto me. Are you male or not? Surely your friends all shit talk when you are messing around the table. Or is it all suits and handshakes at your gaming club?

  • @LeagueCityBallroom Considering how he talks, I think he is the gaming club. Nobody would want to play with a dick who has no sense of humour or creativity. Honestly, if a guy brought a vacuume and called it an emperor titan, I'd laugh, but I'd also cry because how god-awesome that would be. An army of bottle-cap space marines and coke can dreadnaughts would also be a night to remember.

  • is 40k better than warhammer fantasy?

  • @Zlofpgu its a matter of opinion. do you like fantasy or Sci Fi? Both have very similar rules systems now in the newer editions, so its all a matter of personal preference.

  • @Zlofpgu depends on what you prefer go to games workshops website and decide for yourself

personnaly i prefer 40k but still play fantasy

    its your opinion

  • i think you should add more bits to your great gargant like plates or some kind of parts witch would make it look more orky. but anyway great job :)

  • nerd

  • how do you kill that which has no life?

  • @reubenglendinning fire :P

  • I play dawn of war for a long time and it is very well mapped army of orcs paw upwards beyond this very cool collection of figurines.

  • knob mob :P

  • @spectra747 *nob, its short for nobble

  • WWWAAAAGGGGHHHHHH! Gork add Mork are very proud of you today!

  • were do you get that gaint thing and whats it called

  • @Remythecheesemonkey It's called a Great Gargant. This one is scratchbuilt, though there was a company that did make the actual model in the early 90's called Epicast (or Armorcast, I forget which made that particaular one).

You can still find them on Ebay from time to time, but they usually start around $300. The real model is a solid resin kit, but the company that made them used rather cheap resin, which was part of why GW stopped doing business with them.

  • well bugger me, thats a big army ;) that must have cost a fortune!

  • Is the big thing in the middle an ork titan or something? Looks awesome

  • @vtec407 Yes, its a scratch built version of the old Epicast Great Gargant titan. Its the second largest titan in the ork arsenal.

  • @Arkaine8 or maybe it was filmed with a cheap camera and that was the best it could get. If you are willing to buy a nice new camera for me, I would be happy to accept it.

    Thanks for your constructive comments.

  • @Arkaine8 dude shut the fuck up and enjoy the vid

  • @Arkaine8 faggot shut up at least he can afford 1000 of £s worth off stuff

  • @Arkaine8 your mums ass is a blur

  • Hows the wife

  • 25000 points hmm that sounds like rape to me

  • @deadstroke94 its actually bigger now. I need to remake a new video with everything. Finally got a bit more painted as well.

  • @Trueflights plz make a new vid with all ur new stuff haha i cant wait ive subbed thx 4 putting out this vid :P

  • THIS REEEKS HERESY

  • I would dip it all, would look better instantly :P

  • fuck the orks in the 90s looked like shit :)

  • @MenOnBirthControl A matter of opinion really. I prefer the look of the older stuff. In fact I would take Rogue Trader Models from 1st edition over just about anything out there today.

  • AMAZING!!!!!!

  • im sure my imperial guards can beat them aint that right guy....where they go HEY GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR COME BACK HERE!

  • Oi! 'atsa dead killy Waaaagh youse gots dere.

  • WHAT IS THIS! WHY ARE THOES ORKS SO ORGANIZED! THEY SHOULD BE FIGHTIN WAGHHHH!!!!!!!

  • How much did this cost?

  • @GoldenZombe Yes, for orks some of the units dont even have models so you have to make your own and it works the same for all the units they do have models for, the whole army is based on custom weaponry so you can convert to your hearts content :D

  • Is that Gargant really to scale? cus thats fucking ridiculous

  • @zackNgus its actually supposed to be quite a bit bigger, but it makes it difficult to use. The actual model that Epicast made for GW back in the early 90's was about 20% bigger.

  • These are too bright lol.

  • Hahaha nob mob :')

  • i dont like home made models :/

  • @ninjaed13 I hope you aren't a fan of the Orks then

  • @ninjaed13 I happen to think that model conversions are what make this game more interesting. If every army were the same, things would be pretty boring. Plus, it allows for creativity of the artist.

  • @ninjaed13 Then why are you watching a 40k video?

  • @ninjaed13

I agree, The GW figures have a great look to them, im all for moding them however, home making them does not have the same "show"

  • @zammerak11 I agree as well, but in the opposite respect. While my models aren't the greatest (I enjoy playing the actual game more than modeling or painting) Most homebuilt models are much better than anything GW ever came up with. Look through some of the scratch built Storm Ravens here on You Tube and compare thenm to the piece of crap GW made for a good example.

  • @Trueflights Perhaps, i have not done extensive research on what other players have created. As a starting player myself, for now i will stick to GW pieces and leave them or mod them, the things that are available on forge world are incredible however costly. Eventually due to funds i may end up attempting to create my own pieces, time will tell. However, impressive army capable of a true WAAAGH!

  • @ninjaed13 you should go to a gamesday when it is possible because there are great artists who make their own model and they look greater than workshop model.

  • @YourDeath311 i agree some can be a tonne better but ones (not naming them, the one is this video) without details just look shoddy

  • @ninjaed13 Give me a break, since the price increase that Homemade model is pretty good, and besides original table top games were all about using your imagination

  • Absolutely Masive army

  • Do you have house rules for the Gargant? If So what are they? if not did you find rules for it elsewhere? [i ask cause i wish to make one for my army.]

  • @KriptFrost We play 2nd edition where they actually had a full set of rules and stats for the Gargant. Bell of Lost Souls has an updated apocalypse type book available on their site with rules for the current edition, though they are unsanctioned. Playable as long as your opponent agrees. The thing is crazy overpowered though (as it should be). Your opponent needs an Emperor class titan or the eqivelant to make it remotly fair. Seen a gargant take out 5 warhound titans in a game before.

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! lootaz pwn

  • wow

  • no offence but your tanks loojk like kiddy toys

  • is the gargant classic?

  • is that a SA 80 ???

  • who is the warboss of this WAAAAAAGH !?

  • Whats with the robot with the peni- o wait now i see

  • One question, how long did it took you to paint als these figures ? By the way, great job !

  • @BlauRFasan A good protion of them aren't painted yet. The ones that are, are stuff i've been working on for over 20 years now. Though that also includes several other armies, including a few that I have sold off over the years.

  • @Trueflights i don't want to sound mean but don't you think a little to much

  • now imagine if they came to life -_-

  • Circa 5 minutes: Those aren't modified AT-AT's. Those have four legs. AT-ST's have two.

Now I feel more geeky than I already did watching this. =)

  • wah does it mean like points....shur up im new to the game :/ :L

  • @sircalumbo each model has a set points cost asigned to it. when you are playing a game, the players agree on a total points for the game and the players chose what models they will bring to make up their army, with the total points cost being equal or lower than the set points for the game. Most games are between 500-2000 points on average.

  • thanks is there anyway to see what figure is any ammount of points

  • @sircalumbo There is a generic list of points for the most basic troops that comes with the Rulebooks and other things in the starter box set fo the game. To get more detail, each specific army has a book called a Codex for it. These Codex books contain a lot more details on specialized troops and vehicles for each army and much more detailed points lists for models and options.

  • Hows the wife?

  • I have 2 points of space marines... AND IM PROUD OF It!!!!

  • @theslayter01 2 points? so you have a Bolter laying around with no model to attach it to?

  • @Trueflights Uh...Pretty much O.o

  • @Trueflights dont mess with theslayter01 army, it can destroy your gargant in 1 turn.

  • Comment removed

  • @theslayter01 Wow, not much of a chapter if all you have is a Bolter or two.

  • No offence but these guys don't really get the idea of 40k

  • cool shit man, used 2 luv this stuff

  • WWWOOOWWW i only have 20,000 point worth of spacemarines and 10,000 points of dark angles 10,000 points of eldar and orks an tau

  • why

  • U need 2 get a life

  • @UHCredhead u need 2 get a life n not try and put people down on the internet.....realy cool, i dont even like this shit anymore loved it when i was younger but why the hell do u care if sum1 else dus.

  • 4:30 ish was gumlok and gazbag

  • @Hayabachi yep. it was a promo figure from the Warhammer Online MMO collectors edition. He makes a nice warboss or alternative bigboss model.

  • what kind of stompa is that

  • @MrSyrupman007 The stompa on the right of the Great Gargant is a scratchbuilt one that was made about a year before I picked up a real one. The one on the left is an Epicast Stompa from back when they had a license to make GW minis. If you are refering to the giant thing in the middle, it is a scratch built version of the old Epicast Great Gargant. I've seen some real ones pop up on Ebay from time to time, but usually for around $700+, so I'm perfectly happy with my scratchbuilt one.

  • your great gargant looks like my baby nefews play toys

  • dude how do u pay for all this?

  • This is the stuff my nightmares are made of.

  • what your looking at in this video is £20,000 worth of plastic

  • @TheVekNilashGoblin Not true.... some of them are metal.

  • @Trueflights haha:p

  • @TheVekNilashGoblin holy shit that is a LOT of fcking money ;/

  • NERD

  • hmmm i bet u could buy a cars from that GW Money

  • your great gargant got a great big penis

  • @auzziboy1234 yep, exactly as it was designd by Games Workshop

  • @Trueflights hahahaahahah spot the 2 "n's" mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • @auzziboy1234 i spoted them easy last in the first and 2nd to last in the second
