This is a classic skit from a quirky commedian who was pretty much known for this ironic/annoying and yet somehow funny routine. This is not meant to be the 'we tell you what is funny and when to laugh' moronic and easy to get 'comedy' that some need. Comedy at it's best, IS at times annoying and outside the box. That describes this little skit. If it makes you mad...you probably have other problems than what to call this guy.
I was told by a police officer a few years ago that he murdered his girlfriend after she told him it was over. He said he responded to the scene, came from the back of the house, and saw him on top of her, with her head almost completely decapitated. He said he writes him from prison sometimes.
