I mean he has learned alot on how to run a team from some of his former teammates ( Rafer Alston, Mike James, and Steve Francis) but he's just now taking the role of being the starting point guard of the Rockets, in the middle of this wild season. We can't expect him to excel right away into becoming one of the best PGs(which is hardest position to learn) in the leauge yet. I say give him time. He will be one of the top PGs in the NBA soon He just needs more time and experience, thats all.

OKAY OKAY. Everybody has to realize Aaron Brooks is in his second season, he's not a high lottery pick and is young. I mean u have to give the guy a TREMENDOUS amount of credit for running the Rockets offense and keeping em on their toes. He might not be Chris Paul or Deron Wiliams but he's just as good and still learning the game and progessing . I mean u still see the mistakes he makes and the turnovers but u just have to be patient and let him develop into his game.

the scouting report is out on brooks all u have to do on the pick and roll is trap him when he gets in the paint and hes unable to make a play by way of pass because his body is so small he doesnt have enough length to get that pass off. he also has trouble throwing passes to yao due to his lack of size he almost always has to throw a bounce pass to a 7'6 player he really struggles as a starter due to his size.

Umm... He's a small player but he can easily distribute to Yao. Look at Chris Paul. It's not as though Chris Paul needed to elevate above the rim to pass to Tyson Chandler (when he was still in New Orleans). Brooks is good and will continue to grow.
