  • Hi I am a newbie to being prepared for disasters I have watched two of your video's great stuff , I am currently setting up a solar power system so I plan on watching more of your video's and am always looking for information .

    God Bless

  • UR too rich

  • Dude you are my idol. Im working towards being totally off grid too.

  • I would nt keep connected the electrical suply you got there since... in case of solar storm, everything would just burn out... you could add up a bicycle running with a permanent magnet motor just like ur wind turbine.

I would nt thrust solar panel to much neither because of volcanic eruptions that comes with solar storms... a massive explosion would easyly put us all in the dark for several months,>

    Great Video!

  • awesome....need $ for all your excellent equip....i will sub you, great knowledge, thanks for sharing

  • whats in the other emp box........... hu mister is it porn lololol jkjk nice vid keep it up

  • You should sort your food by the expiration month and year according to the expiration date. Some of that canned food is only good for a couple of years at the most. Even the dry package chili powder is only good for a year.. Eat and rotate your food out.. Just a FYI

  • OBX, Do you freeze your food before you Vacuum seal it?

  • LOL... ~ LOVE those "other" cabinets :)

  • Dry beans keep for years, they are much more nutritious than canned goods. You could look up on how to germinate them in jars and make them turn into green vegetables.Ann Wigmore has YouTube videos that teach just that. You can grow wonderful greens in trays with just an inch of soil and recycle the used soil in garbage cans to compose and make better soil in just a few months.Nuts, and whole grains will keep for years as well and are more nutritious. Dry and whole grains, nuts and legumes keep.

  • It's good to be prepared for an EMP, but realistically that first high-altitude burst is going to be followed by a lot of ground bursts within minutes and the EMP will be the least of your worries. Do you have a bomb shelter? Geiger counter? Any of that stuff? Obviously, a nuclear exchange isn't the danger it used to be during the Cold War, but Russia's degraded early warning makes me worry. A nuclear war could definitely start by accident.

  • you are your own ecosystem. Let's just hope gangs don't accumulate and take over these types of houses!

  • I see some Old Bay!!! Gotta have the Old Bay especially here on the east coast, seafood and Old Bay are like 2 peas in a pod haha

  • good vido thanks

  • @johthenailer You are welcome. I love your videos. In hine sight I should have entered yankee preppers contest eaven though I would have got my but kicked. I chose to wimp out. I hope all is well with you and yours Happy Holidays.

  • what model M1A do you own. looks sweet.

  • @bigdollars99 That one is the Socom 16.

  • Don't forget toilet paper, its your best friend. if you want EMP protection, you can buy lead lined sheet rock for that. they use it in hospitals for imaging machine. cost you about $100.00 sheet. make sure you put it on the outside joist. that will limit any holes you make mounting stuff.

  • Kevin check out this govt site calculator .nrel.gov/eis/imby/ click on imby red letters to check it out. The $ amount for cost cant be changed but you can do it your self. Draw it right on your house also let me know if the wind is close on the #'s

Thanks always you have taught me alot

  • Great vids! And it's really cool that you have a snow-making machine in your cabinet! LOL

  • Hey Kevin, I saw the Vienna sausages in the closet!!! 127% of your daily fat in 1 can. Talk about a powerhouse food!!!! Good times at the range on Sunday.

  • @shooting308 One meal at your house has more than Vienna could ever get in one can wich is fine. The only diferance is I dont buy more guns or optics when I stay home with my can of sausages. CHEERS my friend.

  • @LeoDan247 Thank you

  • Great job Kevin!

  • You have a kick ass set up! How do solar panels stand up to solar flare? Will they make it or will they fry with everything else?

  • @islaguy100 I think solar panels will do just fine. there are lots of satalites and they are all solar powered. I know the batterys will have no problems. The rest of the system is vulnerable.

  • Now that was FUNNY I don't think that I have laughted like that in quite a while ... Thanks you for your time and hard work and hope that you'll never need to use it ... God bless ...

  • dont worry i wont forget that combination

  • @1161858 Please dont. If I were to auger an airplane in to the ground someone will need to get in there.

  • great video, wish i was as set up as you are!

  • LOL

  • LOL your vids....Love em...Happy Thanksgiving Kevin

  • @bubbaducks And to you to.

  • I think you had two waves of a solar storm during the filming. lol. May I suggest you subsitute the packs of chili seasoning with a jar of cayene peppers? You can grow them where you live, they are cheap, tasty and much better for you than the packs. I would even send you some seeds. One plant would produce all the flavor in those packages. Happy Thanksgiving to you.

  • @preparedchipmunk I do yhat as well. I was just trying to do a quick vid of every thing. I hope you had a good Thanksgiving.

  • Nice, always enjoy your videos...Gotta love the locks for the deep freezer @ 9:00

One way to keep the cookie monster out of the cookie jar, lol

  • Awesome Kevin. You are good to go! Thanks for sharing. If I ever need to bug out I'm heading to your house(lol) Take care and have a happy turkey day.

    Gary

  • K, Got a chuckle out of the "special cabnit" shots. What's w/all the beer?!! LOL!! Great vid. Love the overview of your whole setup. Looks like you'd be ready for one of our Midwest ice storms. Happy Turkey Day! -NAAATTTTTTTEE

  • Happy Thanksgiving.

  • Great Video....nice editing!

  • P.S.S.. Loved the " Cage Footage"! Guess it works huh!!!

  • Dude, I love the spices, and the prepacked stuff from McCormick and many others. Love the Texas Toast too!!! Sweet!!! You've got me dead nuts on the water... Much to learn! P.S.. Don't let the insurance company know you have 50+ gallons of fuel stored.. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • @stayingawake20 Hey Swede. I love the way the media has the world thinking jet fuel or JET-A is a bomb when its just highly refined kerosine. We had a Citation over shoot the runway and ended up in the water so we scored a bunch of fuel. Every one in the plane walked away. Happy Thanksgiving.

  • How come this video has a time and date stamp on the bottom?

  • @nuclearthreat545 I dont know. The video program I have sucks.

  • Nice setup Kevin. How is that outback working out for you?

  • @skokie23 The OutBack is great.
