  • Fantastic. This guy is one of my favorite pipers, no doubt. Heard him play in person once, it was the highlight of an already excellent concert.

  • Between 3.20 onwards...well life just doesn't get better worth living than listening to that magnificence...Genius is an overused word...not it this instance...

  • Feasting on this tonight....you know once I was talking to him about a jig my uncle Will used to play..called Minnie Hynds...he didn't know it...he said play it...he held the bagpipes ((just played the bellows and drones)and I played the chanter much to the amusement of the onlookers.....wonderful moment...he now plays it just about every recital...was telling Willie about it..he said I played it well despite the fact that I got it wrong !...smirk...Don...x.

  • anyone know what kind of chanter hes playing I cant see it all that great

  • @Blakey6678 I believe he plays strathmore... But I am not 100%

  • @Blakey6678 @Blakey6678 I believe he plays strathmore... But I am not 100%

  • @kro2837 I know Angus has used the Strathmore chanter before and won the Glenfiddich Championship with one. This definitely doesn't look like the one with the ivory sole that he used to play all the time, so very well could be a Strathmore chanter. It also sounds pretty similar to the Strathmore chanter sound. I just tried one out about 3 days ago :-).

  • When MrMcColl turns up...the rest of you...and I don't mean this unkindly, might as well fold your pipes...never seen anyone beat the hell out of crochets...quavers and grace notes quite like him....damn isn't it grand we have heard him....eh
