Hey OrionSyndicate910 I have to say that SuperAntiSpyware is a Rogue antivirus also I shit you not my buddy got hit with it and does the same thing it has annoying freakin warning popups n shit and nomater what he does it will keep poping up just like all other Rogue programs AVG doesint work anymore because hackers who make these Roges got into thier system and messed everything up.

Instead Just Use Kaspersky It works and it Kicks ass It blocked shitloads of Rogues and keylogger hackers.

Restart PC, tap F8 and enter into safe mode with nwetworking.(safe mode only uses the bare minimum of windows files needed to function, meaning the rogue won't run) Then use you Antivirus or download MBAM and scan/remove. If rogue continues running in safe mode, acess task maneger and end its process, then remove. Make sure to delete its registry and win startup keys, then restart.

Interesting. I have a problem a lot like this one but it doesn't show up as "desktop defender 2010." It behaves the same way however. Almoost word for word. Now I have yet to click on these popups because they are always attempting to download the malware they are infected with. The interesting thing for me is that restore does not delete it. Whatever this is, it will not allow restore to complete. I'll try some of the programs you've suggested and see what comes of that.

With respect, there is one way to avoid all these issues. Do not use insecure costly operating systems like windows.

There are alternatives - Linux being the most popular - that just don't have the security holes that all widows OSs are riddled with.

I was attacked by Desktop Defender 2010 a little over 3 weeks ago and I honestly thought I was going to lose my netbook. I couldn't help laughing when you said you reported them to the FBI. I hope those bastards rot.

I ended up using the revo uninstaller before I had found this vid. That is one mean little Malware.

I got DD 2010 from Google. Malwarebytes is good for stopping the virus from getting in, but once it is in, you need to do the 4 steps. So far, I have had luck with CCleaner and I am currently running SUPERAntiSpyware. Thank you very much for posting this, as not even the HP Technicians could help me get rid of this thing. I have to give the makers their props, they made a hell of a virus there.

Orion good video, I'm sure it will come in handy at work. The douche bags who made this abomination I think ( not 100% on this) are in the Ukraine. The bad part is, that Ukraine is not set up to deal with people like this and I find it doubtful that there could be anyway to prosecute these people without getting them to come to the US. So the best way to combat them is through awareness.

i found Malwarebytes is a great program, but desktop defender or what ever that virus is will stop it. for some reason my computer always crashes if i try to boot in safe mode

I wouldn't mention that part, if you decide to file an FBI report against them. I got mine by dowloading a legit program. DD2010 went through McAfee like it wasn't even there.

Same here, I got it, and McAfee didnt find it most of the time. One time, it found it, but it wouldnt remove them.
