  • WTF at 0:58?

  • Surprised that mosquito could get away with how much blood it sucked out of you. Great vid!

  • Very cool...I'm surprised you could be so still with your bodyguard sucking your blood...that stings :)...good job!

  • great video, the ladybug disturbed your record. ;)

  • Holy Shit you can see him get fatter

  • Did you feel any thing?

  • UGH! Hate those blood suckers so bad!

I was waiting for the dramatic finish with a big hand slap kill, but instead it was the little Ladybug who came in like the red winged superhero to save the day! I wish it would have eaten the mosquito haha!

    CRAZY!!!

  • OH LOOK...IT'S EDWARD!

& he's running away from Bella!

    HAHA!

    : )~

  • That ladybug was great. What a shame it went away so soon. Great video.

  • OH F***ING S**T YOU CAN SEE IT FILLING UP WITH BLOOD AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH........

  • @SeatBeltFTW no shit!

  • that is so rad..

  • wow, that's quite gross, but impressively objective.

  • #1 I'd slap that sucker

#2 0:55 Did it just piss on you??

    #3 "Blood in me belly"

  • amazing!

  • Hahahaha! Better late than never. Awesome video.

  • you can see it getting bigger and fatter as it sucks up the blood !

  • This will be my next lens without a doubt. I'm curious, is it good for portraits as well ? With the 1.6x factor on my 40D this would get it to the 104mm area; perfect for dual duty wedding shoots

    .

  • @tybeejeffro no way - it's not like other macro lenses. It does magnification, not conventional "focal length." If you want a portrait lens get 50mm 1.4 or 85mm 1.4 - pricey, but amazing glass.

  • @wwwdavemacleodcouk Yeah, I see what you mean. I'm leaning towards the 85mm f/1.8 for a couple of reasons: it's much faster to focus and way cheaper price while still a very sharp lens and awesome bokeh.

  • @tybeejeffro 85mm on a crop body will give you some serious tele (like 135mm on a full frame camera), and you'll find yourself having to stand REALLY far back from your subjects. There are many lenses which offer stunning sharpness and bokeh, like the 30mm 1.4 and 50mm 1.4 from sigma which can be had for around the same as the canon 85mm 1.8. If you also want macro thrown into the mix, consider the 28mm 1.8 from Sigma - great bokeh, sharpness, and gives you 45mm "effective" focal length.

  • @wwwdavemacleodcouk I've also hear the 60mm f/2.8 macro from Canon is an outstanding lens with razor sharpness. This would work well for shooting wedding portraits and for macro shots of the rings, invitations etc.

  • ur letting it suck you?

gl with your malaria or whatever

  • Man that looks gr8!!

and that ladybug haha saved ur life LOL!

  • ladybird

  • LOL ladybug ftw

  • mosquito: suck,.. suck,.. suck,.. ohhhhh, im fulled, pufff

  • That's really cool.

  • Awesome, I like how the lady bug comes in like "what up mofo!? I'm gonna f**ck your sh*t up!" Nice example of the 65 with video.

  • Great video

  • Did you make the ladybug show up?

I've been saving to get a 100 Macro f2.8 IS. I've just learned about this MP-E65 lens today, and now I don't know which one I should get.

  • @coirchlid

    no, she suddenly appear .

there is a big different between the 100 macro and the mp-e 65 !!!

check exactly what you need, before you buy.

  • @coirchlid Id start with the 100mm its a great lens at a great price if you have a FF camera and can save a little longer get the 180mm its the best id say, however the 180L or non-L is fantastic I got one for £300 from eBay and just got the 180mm for quite a bit more....wait a sec this is 11 months old you will have definitely have chosen by now so ill shut up :P

  • 0.58 it pisses on your finger! lolol

  • it would have been hilarious if you crushed it at the very end lol

  • @jeffreychantin nah that would just be unkind:O(

  • If you speed that up to about 15 seconds! WOW

  • oh dude...you should speed that up! thats sick...the belly getting full of blood is incredible.

  • WOW

  • What a blood sucker ! I had no idea it was your finger, great idea ! and the end is awesome !

  • Great shot mate. i have 5d2 but MP-E 65mm.

  • Can u set the camera to record more depth of field? Usually all these videos are blurry too close or too far from the subject.

  • @jbravo70 The MP-E 65mm has a very shallow depth of field and that is the only draw back from the lens. You cant do anything about it in pictures or video.

  • Ladybug to the rescue (If a little late...) LOL!

  • cool

look my vids for ants ;)
