Lands! you kids today don't understand art! This Linch fellow make everything surreal and like a dream...that's not art! Lands! anybody who's seen a good Busby Berkeley film knows that's true art. Lands! When are you kids going to wake up...!
Well sir, I wanted to ask you if you were really present at the screening or that you just downloaded this from somewhere but I can see from the other comments that you behaved like a true reporter, so I withdraw my question immediately.
Yeah. I'm not sure it was worth standing in the freezing cold for 45 minutes after driving to Chicago (1.5 times, as I foolishly forgot the tickets- so unlike me!) but I enjoyed the film, which isn't going to be released in Milwaukee.
I dunno. I couldn't tell if it was illegal or not. There weren't any signs and they only warned us against photographing the actually film, so I'm not quite sure where there'd be a problem, except concerning the organist.
If you can find out his name, I'd be glad to include it, here. I didn't know if he was a theatre employee or just some random guy, but I wanted to promote him.
seriously. aside from those people, the same 3 people kept leaving during the actual movie, including a rather obese man who at one point dropped his bottle of water and took 20 minutes to pick it up. it would have been a little more courteous to let his smaller sized wife do all the moving and shaking.
I watched a court case the other day where a man who wouldn't shut the fuck up during a movie got pop poured over his head. He claimed it burned his eyes. I wanted to hug the lady who did it.
wtf, this was in chicago??? i wish i'd known, i would love to have been there.. : ((((

Very interesting thought. "A woman in trouble." What if Nikki is Marilyn trapped inside and terrorized by the film industry?

It's the midnight screening, btw. Are you the nice guy who handed me my hat when it slid off my lap during the movie?
And why were you out so late?!

Seriously. There was a nice guy across the aisle who silently handed me my hat when I dropped it during the movie, though.
At least he knew how to act right.
