  • i so love Picard.

  • 8:48 - "This is blinding me!"

    *cuts to the blind guy*

  • Why is he always crazy man...

  • love TNG

  • LOL at picard singing a drinking song and getting worf and geordi to join in!! (it's a clone of course - created by Q wasnt it?)

  • @ceredigio Nope it was a weird blue scaly shape shifting alien.

  • Is it possible to add annotations showing the titles of the episodes and original airdates?

  • tHE LAST SCENE WAS THE BEST LMAO THATS A BIG ASS BLUNT!

  • @diamondtheater88 'Dont bet on it Picard......' lol q is funny

  • Im such a nerd! I've seen all these episodes... *sigh*

  • @aboodz I think it would be good if this video could be updated with annotations showing the titles of the episodes and original airdates :-)

  • @aboodz same :)

  • Conclusion: Picard has spent too much time on the Enterprise without taking a break. He needs a vacation.

  • Picard was Such a Really Great Character in such a Watered Down Bland Setting.

He would have Shined Brighter in More Rough and Tough Settings like the ones that made the Original Series Great.

This is Exactly why Picard should be Brought into the New Tougher JJ Abrams Universe of Star Trek. The Faster an Newer ships will bring people into Danger Faster. Picard's Experience and Skill are needed in the 23rd Century.....What a Man to givethe new young Captain Kirk some Advice...

  • Why CAN'T Picard sing a song after a Toast?! EH?! He has a wonderful singing voice and he's basically FUCKING brilliant! >:-(

  • Picard was a better CO and better commander to serve under, but Kirk was probably the better Captain.

  • Very nice trailer, thx for sharing ^^

Didn't realize Picard went crazy so OFTEN :-)) Think I have to watch all 178 episodes again :-)

  • you'd think everyone one in that time would be obese if they can eat as much of any kind of food they want without paying anything. the only thing i've heard against that is in voyager when they can only have rations

  • oh so now jean-luc's mom was a jewish holocaust survivor? huh?

  • If shooting yourself (as a clone) won't drive you crazy...I don't know what would.

  • Picard does not go crazy. During these clips it is we who went crazy while watching.

  • everyone but data was going crazy in this episode so he has an exscuse.

  • everyone but data was going crazy in this episode so he has an escuse.

  • Why is he wearing a blue shirt at 9:45 ?

  • @KyrenS64Gotham

there was an episode where Q gave picard another chance at life so he changed that mistake with fighting those klingon things (forgot what they were but they stabbed him in the heart) and instead of becoming captain in his life he was an ensign or something and riker was captain.

  • @livingsadstorys Oh thank you, what episode is that ?

  • @livingsadstorys Those "Klingon things" you mean, are called Naucaasians.

  • he's gone space crazy, if you ask me.

  • Riker looks so weird without his beard.

  • Tasha: "Where is he?"

    Troi: "This isblinding me!"

    Geordi: "Me too!"

  • No more late night snacks.

  • what episodes are these from?

  • LMFAO @ 5:35

  • @HighRiseChateau AHAAHAHAHAHAHA that's my favorite part of this entire video! 6:00 hahah

  • If anything fucks up just blame it on the the Q

  • 9:06-9:50 where r those episodes from n what r they about? doesnt have 2 b thorough just the basics

  • 8:18 picards face says OH FUCK NO

  • 5:35 = Picard high on weed

  • Captain Picard is just getting trolled by Q lol.

  • OK, to be fair, most of those scenes made sense in context...sorta...

  • favorite part 3:10

    what language is that?

  • Seems like Picard goes less crazy after the first season.

  • They had limited resources on ships. I think typically on the larger ships it wasn't a big deal, but people were limited in what they could synthesize on a daily basis I believe.

  • wow, hundreds of years on the future, and Ding-Dong-Ditch still isn't old! ^_^

  • Needs the scene where Picard calls red alert in the very first minute of introducing himself to the crew. (All Good Things)

  • patrick stewart is kinda hot

  • Picard: "Nooooooooooo!!"

Worf: Oh no, not again - "…Sir?"

  • What did Dr Crusher say about Relived of command

  • 5:35-6:12 --> Picard = high on something

  • that's some pretty good quote mining you've done there. ;-)

  • Picard is so much better than Kirk. I mean look at him. He has the balls to wear a red shirt!

  • @ThePieIsLie ohhhh, I think I totally got that reference!

  • Picard looks DAMN fine in his '30s suit on the bridge. :D

  • You have great comedic timing with your editing. Bravo sir!

  • I pissed myself at 1:15 and 5:34

    But 6:03 - 6:12 MADE MY FUCKING DAY. "NOOOOONONOONONO--First officer's Log--"

  • There should be a laughter track to this.

  • This is great!

  • @GeneralGrin Still giving misinformation--many planets, especially those not under Federation rules, still use money; the main benefit of membership in the Federation is access to its technology, which makes acquiring extra possessions useless; in cases where Federation ships or colonies interact with others, they often use barter or other systems to provide adequate compensation. Sort of like a benign communism where people only use what they need, and focus on other things than consumption.

  • Its So Surreal

  • That poor man.

  • Bah, give 'em a break. Being captain so long he's bound to have a few space dust flash backs. Also, SHUT UP NUMBER ONE, I'm talking to my imaginary old lady.

  • 4:52 - 5:34

That's no hallucination. Women can't control themselves around him.

  • he's off his fuckin nut

  • 1:14 Do not want

  • Night Terrors - great episode

  • I never did understand the scene around 3:50.This is a time where humans operated without money so what significance would it be for the captain to say drinks for everyone .It's not gonna cost him anything!

  • @gamesmaster35 they must be using some sort of credits.

we've seen people choosing gifts at a replicator so what's the point of giving replicated gifts if anyone can replicate anything for free anyway.

imagine what the line to use the holodeck would be, unless it costs them some sort of points or credits which is why people limit their use of it.

we know that the higher the rank the bigger are your quarters and stuff like that. so it's not like there's really a total equality for everyone

  • @GeneralGrin there was one episode while traveling on shore leave picard told troi she was buying

  • @GeneralGrin there was one episode while traveling on shore leave picard told troi she was buying, its clearly wrong that there's no currency, that or the writters just lapsed in their writting and accidentally made senarios with currency, despite that not being their idea

  • @GeneralGrin yes they have larger quarters, but this is a military setting

  • @GeneralGrin Obviously, you haven't even bothered to google this subject or you wouldn't be so misinformed about it. Replicators ARE free, which means people don't NEED to acquire masses of stuff--gifts are not status symbols, but symbols of affection. Also, certain things cannot be replicated--latinum, for example. That's why the Ferengis use it for trade. And not everyone has the willpower to resist misusing replicator tech--which is why the Federation keeps it strictly controlled.

  • @GeneralGrin on Voyager they mentioned having replicator rations, but I wasn't sure if that was solely because they were so far from home and had to ration resources.

  • @GeneralGrin ..because it's polite! ;-)

    seriously:

presenting a gift shows what you think and know of a person.

In fact, I would treasure a gift that has not been paid for much more than just some "expensive thing", if it has something to do with me or shows that the person who gives it to me has a good idea what I like!

  • @GeneralGrin Everyone has replicator rations. I think it would probably be attributed to the weight of the items, because volume wouldn't matter for molecular rearranging. But they do talk about it, I can't remember specific episodes but i know they say something like "I saved up a month's worth of rations for this tennis racket." or something like that.

  • @GeneralGrin They don't use any currency as far as I can tell and on top of that there are plans on how we a global cultural could run with out any money at all if you want any more info on this look up the venus project.

  • @GeneralGrin they cant replicate for free, each person has rations

  • @gamesmaster35

That scene isn't actually Picard, it's a then unknown lifeform that has taken Picard's form to study Enterprise's command structure. I think he acted crazy not only to keep everyone off balance, but that the entity was beginning to enjoy his role and knew that it may come to an abrupt end, and wanted to have fun with it. That's just my interpretation, however.

  • @gamesmaster35 in this episode the captain picard u see is a imposter that may not realise the lack of currency

  • @gamesmaster35 a random thought, since synthahol is served and the captain is well known for buying alcohol, it is reasonable to assume ales all around means alcohol all around rather than synthahol.

  • @gamesmaster35 its just cooler when he orders the drinks, the drink feels more important when the captain approves it

  • @gamesmaster35 what they mean by no "money" is no currency in the sense of coins and notes that differ in currency, instead they have credits a universal type of electronic money.

  • @joshfish2 electronic money is sill money. Picard made it very clear on many occasions that they don't have any kind of money. they work not for personal profit but to "better humanity"

he also said humans "eliminated the need for possessions"

  • @GeneralGrin He says ales for everyone. Normaly they all drink synthahole which can't make you drunk. They are forbidden to drink alcohol on duty. So maybe ha gives them permission to drink a real beer.

  • @GeneralGrin They probably cannot use that "money" in a capitalistic way and so on...

  • @GeneralGrin Voyager is a good example, power/ resources were somewhat limited so they had holodeck time that could be saved (Id waste mine on 2 min quickies) and replicator rations. My question on holodecks... who the hell cleans it? Does the photon generated matter that "recycles" clean whatever someone may have.. left?

  • @GeneralGrin The whole money thing was one way and then another. Look at DS9 and the ferengi. Look at risa, look at their trade agreements.

I think it was kind of a screwup on the writers part to ever put the thing in about not having any money.

  • @GeneralGrin

Maybe it has to do with work hours, overtime.

  • @joshfish2 maybe were paid in a different way like... warp energy is not unlimited, so the most credits you have, the more stuff you can replicate from the replicators or something

  • @gamesmaster35 You're all wrong

Picard used his personal replicator rations to provide the whole ship with drinks

  • @umulamahri roflmao

  • @gamesmaster35 On starships, resources are limited due to their being in deep-space. Therefore, energy reserves are limited which is needed to run the replicators. As a result, on Starfleet vessels, each crewmember is assigned a set amount of replicator rations per week (or whatever). Picard saying he'll pay for the drinks means that he'll use his own rations for everyone else's drinks, so it is still costing him in a way.

  • @gamesmaster35 Or maybe its just a permission for those on duty in a few hours and do not have the right to drink.

  • @gamesmaster35 on board a starship they have limited energy to be used in replicators per person. So Picard is offering his part of "energy credit" when he's offering drinks

  • @gamesmaster35

He's the captain. They cheer for the captain.

And anyway, they know that what he's doing is symbolically a gesture of friendliness, regardless of whether it costs money or not.

  • @gamesmaster35 Besides, that's the thing that raised the red flag that this was an imposter.

  • @gamesmaster35

Maybe only so many are allocated to a person per time period?

  • @gamesmaster35 I would think that on normal occasions, officers on the enterprise don't drink alcohol. So, when Picard comes in and announces ale for everyone, it's sort of like .. "Oh, I guess it's okay then!"

But there is absolutely no currency in the federation.

  • @gamesmaster35

Booze takes replicator fuel, which is rationed aboard the ships. Lol, he was freeing up their rations for other things (Or more beer!)

  • @gamesmaster35 Cultural habits die hard. People like to be able to give gifts and order drinks for their friends. Even if it doesn't actually cost anything any more, it's the intention that counts. That's how I always saw these things. Money no longer exists in Star Trek, but human culture has kept some of the old habits and customs from the days when they used to live under capitalism.

  • @Veshgard kind of like when Kirk use to say "Scotty you earned your pay for the week." After he pulls off some death defying move that apparently breaks all laws of physics? And I'm like thinking "What pay??"

  • 7:52 to 7:57

    IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR

  • 8:30 I didn't know that Picard was a Sith Lord!!!

  • 2:56 "Fire...." LOL!!!!

  • WHA ?

  • 5:34 - 6:12

    Best insanity moment ever.

  • 0:59 Original Microsoft™ Screensaver

  • Sadly you can’t watch the German parody, where Picard orders those drinks, and then starts singing “We’re dancing ’till we tumble down, we’re dancing ’till we tumble down, we’re dancing ’till we tumble down…” (my crude translation)

  • and the memories of many battles, what comes with military greatness is often a haunting by the souls under your command and under your fire

  • SPACE MADNESS!!!!!!

  • Picard insane is still ten times the commanding officer that Kirk was.

  • WORF: Uhhhh......Sir?

    PICARD: .....

  • I just noticed, when he goes to the door in his room, he's at the front of the bridge, but it is always show at the back when they enter.

  • 1:15 lol someone's never ridden the fast elevators.....

  • 3:11

  • Not now doctor!!!!!

  • @GeneralGrin That makes sense. TlhIngan Hol. I love your compilations by the way!

  • I don't see why Worf doesn't like singing on the show. He's a Klingon. Klingons love singing games!

  • i mean 6:03

  • HAHAHA 5:58

  • Cardassian LSD is a hell of a drug...

  • 5:55 Dizzy? Diz-zy? DIZ-ZEY DAH-LEKS! watch?v=jjRqKOQ1nB0

  • 5:25, Worf is like MAJOR FAIL.

  • what episode is it when he has the blue shirt? I can't find it!

  • @anubis9109 its Tapestry, Episode 6x15

  • @anubis9109: Tapestry. It's when Q shows Picard an alternate reality where he doesn't get an artificial heart, and because of that, he's only a lieutenant in astrophysics.

  • 5:37, lmfao

  • ROFL I always thought that cigar was put in via jandrew and CGI

  • lol %:30 acting FTW!

  • 200 years later and they have the same alert sound as the original Enterprise.

  • Worfs comment's just: "Sir!??"

  • Heh you should have added the scene from Sarek where Picard is all crying and yells "I LOVE YOU SPOCK"

  • this is really fucking LAME!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 5:23 Always do what the doctor orders.

  • I think the casting department for the X-Men movies mixed up Magneto and Professor X.

  • which episode is this

  • 0:16 - 0:24

    lol, Picard got ding-dong-ditched...IN SPACE!!!!!

  • "Come!" Thats what she said!

  • episodes in this video are- Night Terrors Where no one has gone before Where silence has lease The Battle The Big Goodbye Allegiance All Good things part I Devils Due The Naked Now Timescape Time Squared Lonely Among us Tapestry Deja Q

  • Pity the fool who tries to take Picard off of the Enterprise

  • everyday of my life.lol

  • 5:10-5:36 is amazing. :p

  • ding-dong-ditch picard. what an idea!

  • 1:17, Worf is like "WTF?" lol XD

  • That's the great thing about a show that ran for seven seasons - clips for everything.

  • COME!

  • 5:20 LOL wut??

  • Someone this crazy should be deemed unstable, and therefore can't be in command of anything

  • He should be put away in some asylum. LOL, only kidding.

  • ROTFL @ 6:05

  • 1.20 EPIC FAIL

  • 01:15 Sir?.................

  • By order of the Captain, "Ding Dong Ditch" is hereby banned from the ship. Violators will be thrown in the brig.

  • i laughed at a the beardless riker :D

  • LOL. What the hell was he speaking at 3:10? Sounded like drunken gibberish.

  • @cyankuruma: It was a greeting for some insect-like aliens in The Big Goodbye. The slightest mispronunciation of the greeting was considered an insult by those aliens.

  • "NOOOOOOO!"

    "Sir."

  • Troi has accent, can someone identify for me this particural accent?

    thx

  • @buokopter I think it's a cross between English, American and Greek, because her parents are Greek, and she lived in England as a child.

  • @buokopter Going by her name, Martina Sirtis, I'm guessing greek

  • i was hoping picard would say on his 3third answer get your ass into here right now!

  • I felt sad when picard met one of his relatives and how amazing that episode where no man gone before was to explore places we never been to yet.

  • Man, I think they should redesign the turbolift, so that you can't accidentally exit on that floor that's open to space.

  • @LordOfTheGnus Although that floor open to space would come in useful if you want to get rid of someone you don't really like. :)

  • @LordOfTheGnus worse then that, the damn lift likes scaring the occupent! What if it squashes someone? xDD

  • 5:15, im all over that if im Picard!

  • THARE ARE FOUR LITES!

  • @TheHealthJunkie he was brutally good in that episode

  • Don't bet on it, Picard.

  • You have to go through alot of mental training to become captain. Just in case you get tortured with ding dong ditch.

  • Can someone please tell me which episode 1:06-1:28 is taken from?

  • Season 4 Episode 17 "Night Terrors"

Just watched it recently on Nick Lacarno's channel.

That specific part starts at 1:49 on the (3 of 5) segment.

  • @SilverDoe6 The episode is called "Night Terrors"
