You shouldnt be grabbing the Gun with your left hand when doing the forward flower. Left only supports the right, Dont forget to look up when doing the "yun gun". And wheres your stances?

My instructor brings out this steal rod once in awhile. I think he said it used to be a tractor axle or something lol. When you go back to a wood staff after painfully going through forms with the axle its a pretty awesome feeling.

Bo is a term used by karate stylist. In Chinese terms its called a Gwun or Gun, staff stick or pole. The chinese prefer a bit of flexibilty in the weapon. Not too stiff. either same diameter throughout the length or tapered on one end only much like a pool cue.

That spinning trick in the begginging was totaly fake...if you watch his hands and fingers carefully, you can see that they're not moving at all. H'es only moving his arm and wrist, like you would if you're using a "double sided" paddle for rowing a boat....its a trick i learned before i actually took wushu (chinese word for "kung fu")

But you want to have the techniques a little better before you offer it up as a "tutorial." That way you can actually teach it and not just say learn by watching.

Those moves are the most simple there are. I even learned those moves before I used weapens in Aikido/Tang Soo Do.

Just take 1 hour and you know these moves. It's not that hard.
