Yes, I agree, a lot of the unions are a big if not the biggest cause in the fall of Detroit. But those were unions like UAW and construction unions. I have personal friends that are professors at OU and many personal friends that are teachers in K-12 public schools. Their union is everything but overpowered. The reason this rally happened was because they were lossing all healthcare. Not just lower the coverage. The school needed to free up money for a med school they wanted to build. :(
