  • Toyota are having huge problem with the hybrid Prius. I dunno if youve heard about the incident in Norway. That was our family car. No more prius for us I can tell you guys thats for sure. any question just ask if theres something you are curious about.

    Mergim Hoti

  • toyota piece of shit im sorry but im 6'2" n in a corolla and yaris is the most uncomfortable car to drive and the camry n avalon sorry but they suck as well lil head room inside the car the only thing that toyota can build is a enegine the car falls apart and shitty interior work and noisy. ill take my gas guzzling american car that can take some punishment unlike toyota n hona they dont last

  • Spy means throw up on norwichen :D

  • A horse carriage is more comfy and probably better on the track too..Read the ALL magazine reports! Yes, I've driven both. Ford's are for low performance drivers!

  • Joshviper129 you little einstein, Its called the nürnburgring

  • Still no Mondeo beater...!

  • no mondeo beater?check the sales

  • Mondeo beater...! Read the ALL magazine reports! Yes, I've driven both. Toyota's are for low performance drivers!

  • you havent a clue all american cars are shit.how would you know what happens in europe.check lexus lsa spy vids

  • Well, I am a Brit. Born in the UK, public boarding school in the UK, graduated from London and qualified in London. You?

I have driven pretty much every car on the market having worked for a large car leasing company and then a Japanese multinational (the biggest!) in the UK. You?

Lexus do not have that immaculate reliability record as believed. Many IS did not start (unbelieveable for a Lexus!) or had problems opening the boot!

  • ...Toyotas are not bad cars when considered in isolation, but I have never been impressed driving them. I have driven ALL of them. You?

If you like them that's fine. I'm just saying there are better cars out there and my opinion has been substantiated by various UK car magazines.... (cont/d)

  • look all i know is i drove alot of carz and toyotas have most power out of anything in there class and have the longest life expectancy and need least mantinance etc

  • audi it's just a skoda(or volkswagen if you prefer)with another brand, everybody know this, Lexus IS it's another class,i respect your opinion but you tell just bullshits...sorry for my english,i'm italian and i'm proud to be italian

  • Most people would choose Toyota because of reliability. Dunno why Ford Focus are so damn popular in the UK, but here in Scandinavia more people choose Toyota over Ford.

This generation: Mazda 6, Honda Accord and Toyota Avensis are great japanese cars. All of them also look good (rare in older japanese cars imo)

this gen Primera looks like shit tho :\

  • Mondeo is for ultra low performance drivers

  • Checked the sales here in my home market... and you know what? Avensis is #1 in the segment with 25.8% share, Mondeo is #4 with 8.44%... Octavia and Passat separate the two. So, what do you say now?

  • The Swedes have bad taste!

    See total Euro sales

  • Don't know about Sweden... I am talking about Eastern Europe. People in the West don't even have the new Corolla, which is a killer model. So, I'd rather look at MY market, dude.

  • Please see my 3 comments above to mypinis.

New Corolla? Based on the Auris, a recent group test in AutoExpress found it came last after the Korean Hyundia and Kia!

If you get the same looking one as the US Corolla, I'm not pleased with its looks!

  • Thanks for the posts. Not surprised to hear that UK magazines are not very keen on Toyota. Same happens if you read the German Auto Bild or Auto Motor & Sport - I have very heavy suspicions that they get paid by the Government, as 90% of car tests ends up with a German car being the winner (usually VW, but others as well). I would rather trust my own experience, when it comes to comparisson, and believe me, I have driven Toyota and their main competitors pretty much (part of the job...)

  • the SUV looks like the toyota venza that is hitting the US next year. the car is problably the new camry.

  • The car is coming to the UK December 2008 But may be launched officially Q1 2009. The Dealer network will get it before December as production in the UK Derbyhsire plant has just started. The car will be available in Diesel T180 6 speed auto too for the first time and I have seen the actual un-masked car... it looks excellent actually!!

  • Everything you say is right. I've seen it unmasked as well. Beauty. Drives even better than how it looks.

  • I hope the Hybrid version will be also available soon.

  • And do you all know, where will it be shown?

May it be shown in Moscow that year?

  • This car is specifically designed for europe and it wont be sold in the USA for sure. However it will be sold in japan, some parts of africa and asia. This car is an excellent car. It is known for its excellent quality, reliablity and is very popular in the uK and other european countries.

  • those toyotas are racing at at german track i think it is called nurenburg

  • wow, is this really a toyota? (people who laugh at this just have no sense of speed)

  • Lap Time, an incredible 41:37. lol

  • gees are they gonna nurburgring test every production car from now on?

  • cars are actually going at incredible speeds.

  • those cars sure aint coming to the states!

  • What is that van looking car doing on the track?
