The info about taking cars up to Durand then down to Charlotte helps me with my model railroad based on durand/owosso abstractly. Do you think that they took the Lenewee or those hillsdale boxcars on that route? Forgive me, I an not to familiar with these railroads and may sound ignorant asking that question.
All your ADBF videos are great! WOW! I really like the way that they were filmed, not just cause they are cab view, but that you can see the track work and switching jobs, ect... I model the 1980s in central/northern michigan but after seeing these great videos I might pull out my old Modelrailroader mags on the Lenewee/Hillsdale and consider making a small layout directly from the info/images in your videos. Thank you for the information you posted, esp on this video!
@RustBeltRailroad Glad you like them! The most interesting part of the A&B is in Adrian, with the interchange with NS and the branchline that was the old DT&I mainline. This line is used to interchange grain trains with NS.
Lenawee Jct. is where the line to Jackson went north. Today the line north of the wye is owned by the Southern Michigan RR Society as far as Clinton, MI.
