I dont have plans for anything I do...there is a basic standardized design concept for all cigar box instruments with only slight variations depending on the instrument type.
This is still a neck-through design and I think it really needs to be unless you want to get crazy with bracing. string tension is about 200 lbs on a mando. If you are interested in making one, email me...I can help you out

it might be a little bit heavier than a standard mando, but its balanced. Its not like a soprano with monster geared tuners weighing it down. It's not a noticeable difference...but maybe thats just me.
Is there some website that could show me how to make my own cigar-box instrument?? Thanks.
