Plus Russia and Ukraine both have many of the same letters, words, religions, and we shouldnt fight with one another but help each other and be best friends with eachother. We touch the same border lines, speak nearly enough of the same languages (different pronounciations and such) and be there 4 one another no matterwhat. instead we fight with one another, which i see asnonsense. I have no problems with rusians but when they start arguments about this matter i fight back and try 2 show my POV.
why do people still fight over this? We now (as in all of us) live in a society where we should not care about how all of this happened but be happy that we have a culture and tradition and everyone should stop fighting about who was first or who created this or that. Im not saying russia or belarus came from ukraine and vise versa about ukraine coming from other countries, but everyone started somewhere. it just doesnt matter because now everyone has their own countries, religion, and culture.1
Why do so many people get in so many arguments? All the time I look at the comments and I see some nice things, than anger. I don't get it? Why does everyone want to debate everything?
Thank you heaps for sharing, it looks like a lot of fun too :D Also: What's up with the anti-Ukraine comments? If you don't like something, don't look it up to come cry about it. Nobody likes you and you don't win the internet. Fuck off.
Also, if you are in fact Russian, you do not know your own history.
The name Russia is derived from Kievan Rus, which was in present day UKRAINE. Russia came FROM Ukraine, not the other way around. Likewise, the Ukrainian language, people, culture, and state flourished long before Russia even existed.
Think before you write some ridiculous and make a fool of yourself again.
You're wrong. In Ukrainian kraina = land, ukraina = inland meaning the homeland. Contemporary Russia isn't Rus, the same way as contemporary Romania isn't Rome.
Dirty latin??????????? WFK, English has a lot of words with latin origin. Latin is the "mother" language of: Romanian, Portugues, Français, Español, italiano... Dirty is the one who said that... Good dancing Ucrania ;)
Russia is the bastard child of kievan rus, the Ukrainian language was transported to Russia where they butchered it (like French is referred by the ancients as dirty latin). That's why the Russian language sounds so harsh and disgusting but the Ukrainian language flows like water. The dances originated with the Kozaks.
Also, if you are in fact Russian, you do not know your own history.

Kievian Rus is not Ukraine, is not Russia and is not Belarus. Saying that Ukraine came from Russia or Russia from Ukraine is an opinion and not a fact. Ukraine, Belarus and Russia have a common root: Rus...

You see the key word there is RUS, the word UKRAINA comes from the word OKRAINA meaning the edge of the tsardom
