If the producer/ publisher of the song sold them ALL a license to use the song, they ALL can use the same exact track if they want! I wouldn't call it plagiarism unless they didn't buy licenses or permission to use it!

Both The Cure and Lady Sovereign are British and The Cure has always been extremely well known especially there. I'm almost sure that she just used the sample as a homage and they did it legally.
