Whoever was in that Murcielago definitely doesn't deserve to drive it. He accelerated at the same rate as my 2001 Ford Ranger -_- incompetent little man (with a big wallet) :P
This also comes in play with the areodynamics and weight of the rider and what tires you are using. There's a lot of factors that come in play to push it that fast. there for just keep trying if top speed is your thing good luck guys

Factor in the gear reduction from the sprockets and the rear sprocket (and thus the wheel) are turning at 2483 RPM. With a rear tire circumference of 77.9 inches, the bike travels 193425 inches every minute and when you translate that to miles per hour, you have 183 miles per hour roughly since some of the number are rounded.

@jjrockett22 it might add up that ur 600 should hit 180 but if u dont have the power to push the bike to that speed then it wont if ur factory speedo is sayin ur hitting 180 then it is off a bit it sounds like what my k9 gsxr 1000 does but ive put a -1 tooth front sprocket on it and at the end of 5th gear it says 186 and i know its not really doing that in 5th i would be lucky if its doing that in 6th but anyways u should use a gps or radar and u will be surprized

@1337Kind15 actually a 600 is a very quick machine. and quite a bit faster than the t rex. my bike tops out a little past 180. these t rex's pust 160ish. givin it has a 1200cc and 1400cc kawi motor in them. consider the weight and gearing that went into it.

@07scoobywrx if i had bolt ons on my bike i'd easily push 190. on the 90's model bikes that about what there top speeds were, yes. but with newer age and better technology the possiblities are almost limitless. when i talk about a bike...anything with a bike i don't lie and i know my stuff. i've topped it out four or five times not including my old 750s that would push between 170 and 175. so if yal can't get a 600 to go that fast the only thing i can tell you is try harder lol

@SOLDERBOY69 Just curious, but is it actually a limiter on the engine for revs and a top speed governor or is it just the max output of the engine without a governor or rev limiter. Cause if it a governor or limiter you could always just tune it or take it out
@DarkDragon9275 ON a bike its just a rev limiter. No governor. I wouldn't recommend taking the governor off on a sportbike cuz of how quickly they rev and that can do some serious damage, but you can adjust your rev limiter on a bike on some models by using your gauge pod. Hope this kinda answered ur question
@jjrockett22 cool, so basically, the better you are at driving the thing, the better tuned you can have your rev limiter and engine to reach top speed quicker/get more power/more torque but you can't really change top speed because there's no governor on top speed on bikes.
@DarkDragon9275 im not sure if ur trying to make fun of jjrockett22 or what but the truth is that all the newer bikes are limited to 186mph if they have the power to reach it but there are a bunch of ways to disable/trick the bike into going past 186 but a 600 with mods would struggle to hit 180 ive ridden a couple 600s and the fastest was a 2008 gsxr600 with full yoshi exhaust ,air filter, power commander 3 and wide open in 6th gear all it would do was 172mph
@SOLDERBOY69 I don't see how most cars can be possibly faster than TREX which does 0-60 in low 3s I believe. Even you say it performs like a 600. The average 3800LB car can't beat a 600. Also who cares about top speed on the highway or even on a track if you won't be able to reach that speed. It's all about acceleration and power/weight.
@NinjaWarriorDude I think you're speedometer is reading wrong if you are doing 300km/h. My K6 gixxer 600 is all stock accept for the exhaust and mapping and it only reads 276km/h completely tapped out. and it's probably not 100% accurate as they tend to be off by anywhere up to 10% at speed.
All sport bikes are limited with a chip genius. You bypass/remove the device, and tune your rocket from their. T-Rex is limited to 150mph, and has a 1000cc GSXR motor. Simple, remove the device, tune, exhaust, and you should be gucci. If it's still "TOO SLOW," do a Hayabusa or a ZX14 swap. If you still want more, add a turbo. Still not enough? Do something with the tranny too : ).

@1337Kind15 actually a 600 is a very quick machine. and quite a bit faster than the t rex. my bike tops out a little past 180. these t rex's pust 160ish. givin it has a 1200cc and 1400cc kawi motor in them. consider the weight and gearing that went into it.

@jjrockett22 you still have failed to tell me what you have in your bike i find that quite funny knowing that the 2008 zx6 is the least powerfull in its class for 2008 (worst zx6 made yet) i find it hard to believe that you can get over 180 (unless you have a 1000 and are to stupid to know it) just tell me what you have done to the bike. no stock 600 will do over 180 knowing the fastest stock 600 by radar is 167mph.

@07scoobywrx if i had bolt ons on my bike i'd easily push 190. on the 90's model bikes that about what there top speeds were, yes. but with newer age and better technology the possiblities are almost limitless. when i talk about a bike...anything with a bike i don't lie and i know my stuff. i've topped it out four or five times not including my old 750s that would push between 170 and 175. so if yal can't get a 600 to go that fast the only thing i can tell you is try harder lol

@07scoobywrx nope. its a stock bike and stock gearing i've had it to 181 before pegged out at the max. i already posted on there of the stock gearing ratio, according to the math it is possible for it do do 183. but most can do between 172 and 180 that i've road with. i don't know whats up with his but but my cruises up to 155 no problem about 160 to 165 is when i loose pulling power. you have to have a long enough straight a way to let it wind all the way up. its is possible.

I wouldn't recommend taking the governor off on a sportbike cuz of how quickly they rev and that can do some serious damage, but you can adjust your rev limiter on a bike on some models by using your gauge pod. @jjrockett22 cool, so basically, the better you are at driving the thing, the better tuned you can have your rev limiter and engine to reach top speed quicker/get more power/more torque but you can't really change top speed because there's no governor on top speed on bikes.

@DarkDragon9275 im not sure if ur trying to make fun of jjrockett22 or what but the truth is that all the newer bikes are limited to 186mph if they have the power to reach it but there are a bunch of ways to disable/trick the bike into going past 186 but a 600 with mods would struggle to hit 180 ive ridden a couple 600s and the fastest was a 2008 gsxr600 with full yoshi exhaust ,air filter, power commander 3 and wide open in 6th gear all it would do was 172mph

Also who cares about top speed on the highway or even on a track if you won't be able to reach that speed. It's all about acceleration and power/weight.

@NinjaWarriorDude I think you're speedometer is reading wrong if you are doing 300km/h. My K6 gixxer 600 is all stock accept for the exhaust and mapping and it only reads 276km/h completely tapped out. and it's probably not 100% accurate as they tend to be off by anywhere up to 10% at speed.

All sport bikes are limited with a chip genius. You bypass/remove the device, and tune your rocket from their. T-Rex is limited to 150mph, and has a 1000cc GSXR motor. Simple, remove the device, tune, exhaust, and you should be gucci. If it's still "TOO SLOW," do a Hayabusa or a ZX14 swap. If you still want more, add a turbo. Still not enough? Do something with the tranny too : ).
