  • Hi Rita,

You can use either Superlon 18 or C-Lon cord for this project. I did 3 samples, and 2 of them were done with the C-Lon and the other (green sample called Jane Austin on our site) I used Superlon 18. You can also mix and match depending on which color palette you want to work with. I found the C-Lon easier on the hands, the Superlon 18 is a bit stiffer and toothier than the C-Lon. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

    Happy Beading!

  • Hi Nicole, I love this video but I couldn't understand what kind of cord you were using. Is it the Superlon size 18? If not would you let me know what it is. I checked out your website beadshop.com and it looks like the picture. Thanks so much Rita

  • Love this tutorial! Btw...you have the most beautiful hands! ^_^

  • Hi Nicole, you really do a wonderful job. My only problem is that I can hardly hear your instructions after the spiral knot. Will this be typed up and sold as a hand-out at some point in time?

  • Hi Phant0776,

I have a continuous piece of leather tied around one of our Ultimate design boards from beadshop.com. If you look at our How to Make a Ladder Bracelet video, you can see how to do this. The only difference is that you do not use a scrap piece of cord as an intermediate; using the leather framing cords, bring them all the way around your board until you meet your button closure, and secure the tails to the button with a double knot.

  • How do you wrap the cord around the the holder. I want to buy one but dont know who to wrap the cord around it.

How long do you have your cord and where do you buy string or cord? I can get regural cord but the colored cord that you tie I am not sure of.

I want to try this and do it right I just want to make sure I buy the right stuff. thx so much for your time

  • I LOVE this! I can't wait to make it. : ) Thanks, Nicole, for your wonderful videos. xoxo

    Meridy
