  • hey harvey - were you ever in the Beardles?

  • Very interesting interveiw Mr. Brooks. Curious if you still had your old bass from back then?

  • such interesting insight, awesome

  • Seems like I missed a few great concerts at same location-I grew up few miles away -went to first concert there w my H.S. saw "Spanky & the Gang"

  • Great memory. I was there with my wife-to-be and we were both big Dylan fans whatever he played. But i distinctly remember a sense of edginess from the zealot folkies who felt Dylan sold out to rocknroll. MurraytheK as announcer added to that feeling. Also Robbie and Levon from the Band wefre great.

  • just like a fabulous rhinestone

  • hey, i was there, sitting on one of the lawn chairs on the grass and there didn't seem to be any real booing to speak of. the audience seemed to love most all of it. also, he sang desolation row which is not listed on the song credits. i know because there was a drought in nyc and when he sang 'everybody is makin' love or else expecting rain' the audience cracked up in laughter...

  • Perception is an amazing thing. I'm glad you were able to enjoy the concert. I certainly did.

    Thanks for commenting.

  • I wish the interview culd have been in one piece rather than broken up. It's interesting enough to stand on its own.
