Good job guys i like diving without tanx you have come here in kuwait with your group to dive in garooh and om elmaradem :) it is good place to dive . Good Luck guys .
Great show!,and what a great cause to raise the awareness of sharks and how valuable they are to our Eco system. We can do a little bit each and every one of us by not spending any of our hard earnt money in Chinese resturants that sell shark fin soup. I know I have personally left several resturants that do so. How can anyone anywhere catch a shark cut off it's fin and dump the carcass back into the sea. What a waste of a beautiful majestic marine animal............
Hopefully if people see freedivers swimming with sharks in a tank with plastic corals it will end some of the nightmares that JAWS created and more folk will have a deeper respect for sharks.
Awsome video that will make a difference to many folk for many reasons.
The show you put on is fantastic.....I come from the "shark infested' waters of east coast Australia. When I was a kid we saw sharks at the beach nearly every day and the alarms were sounded to clear the water but now it is a rare event. Shark populations globally are in serious decline and if something isn't done to raise people's awareness the only place we will be seeing sharks is in a tank with plastic corals.
As a freediver I can perhaps see what gunclub08 is getting at. It seems like the freediving equivalent of lapdancing. Dubai is an environmental catastrophe and it seems absurd preaching an eco-message to consumers on the evils of shark hunting whilst surrounded by captive species and plastic coral.
We have to stop over fishing in our seas... We made a conscious decision to do the shows and try to make a difference, NOT doing the shows would NOT help the cause at all. It was an opportunity to show people the true nature & beauty of sharks, perhaps we should be thankful they are still alive.
