My Samsung P2370 is about the same "thickness" and got better contrast ratio and coulors. And it's 1080p, not 1200p, I prefer 1080p. And costs 1/7 of the price (In Norway). So this is waste of money, I'll say that it looks good, better than the P2370, but is that wort the extra cash?

its a good screen if you like shiny reflective things... but seriously, im dissapointed that apple has decided to brush off every graphic designer on earth. that screen is horrible in terms of picture quality, although its a nice aesthetic design. I would buy a screen from apple if they could match samsung's or dell's ultrasharp 24" in quality and remove that stupid reflective screen.

picture quality isnt that much better, LED has better power useage rates tho.

The "picture qauality" isn't really what you pay for. It has an outstanding image quality yes, but what you pay for is the colour gamut and accuracy of colour representation, along with the consistent colours accross teh whole panel with large viewing angles. The ultimate "pro" display from Apple is still the 30", which serious designers would likely have anyway, or something equally as expensive. The 24" is more of a consumer/prosumer mix.
