I know WBAI. I don't listen to radio much. I grew up in the south driving a car everywhere and then I listened to it all the time. Somehow, though, without a car I don't listen to much radio. But I like WBAI. You get points of view you otherwise don't hear.

But it made NY seem beautiful to me, in a way that it didn't seem from my Jersey days. It was all these gardens, warm summer heat and restaurants. By July some of the local produce is coming to the green markets in town. The biggest is at Union Square, and you can get vine ripened and organic fruits and veggies there that beat anything in any store.
