  • Live At The Grand Opera House is one of my all time favourite albums. I grew up listening to this album when I was a kid - playing Lego on rainy days in front of the hifi. My dad would put this on repeat (on his fancy new Marantz CD player) for days on end.

  • YEAH!!!! This is the one I have on my "funeral CD" - this is what they will play when they close my casket. So much better than the studio version! From "Grand Opera House - Belfast". God bless VM.

  • @awc0204 Me too! I've been planning my funeral CD for a while now. What else do you have on it?

  • @interactiveleaf Well, let's see. The 1st track is Blood, Sweat & Tears "Overture" from "Child is Father to the Man" (they're 1st album & the only one with Al Kooper). I just like the laughter and want everyone to wonder what's so funny at my funeral. Speaking of Al Kooper, I also have "Bury My Body" by The Animals on it. The Three Dog Night version of "A Change is Gonna Come", Chicago's "Happy 'cause I'm Goin' Home" (the live version from 'Carnegie Hall' - I just like Walt's flute solo)

  • @interactiveleaf (cont'd) Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", Loggins & Messina's "Fever Dream", 2 more by Van: "Til We Get the Healing Done" and "Burning Ground", a couple by George Harrison and several more. Neil Diamond's "Morningside" is there for my kids. Any suggestions would be welcome. Peace....
