I left a vid from a tourney i went to where folks were anticipating scarabs... there was a lot of s6 flamers and such.... dont heavily invest in scarabs. As to the tomb blades go with wraiths with whip coils.... they are CRAZY
What about heavy mech? Sure you have lots of gauss but are nickels and dimes enough with so many small units and really no mobility? How do you deal with land raiders, Russ's, valkyries and such?
i would love to lash of submission those blades near termis or plaguemarines no cover saves for u cuz well you know its cc.. and isnt it if u turbo boosted you cant attack back? nd ill also have a fist in that squad.
overall though its a very in your face list but you need a royal court with a cryptec or wateva with veil of darkness that would help!! but yeah overall the list is not bad
also a unit that has the ability to ignore cover when it walks does it take the dangerous terrain roll?
I only use Deathmarks for delivery of a Destroyer Lord with the weave. I've found it works VERY well as it quickly throws a wrench in the enemy plans to have a D Lord flying about their lines slicing up vehicles. Sure, devote alot of AP 2-1 weaponry to kill him, that's less shooting my army, ignore him and you lose alot of stuff.
Wait someone thinks necrons are weak in annihilation lol really they are the most resiliant army out there when it comes to keeping model on the board. Throw a unit of warriors with necron lord res orb in cover and giggle as your opponent pours fire into them for turns just to drop the unit to only half its size. While the heavy hitters such as lychgaurd go on a killing spree and scarabs go tank hunting. Necrons are anything but weak in killpoints games.
@neofunface Weak is pretty subjective and there are ways to adapt to Annihilation. You're going to be playing for objectives 2/3 of the time, and the 1/3 that it is Annihiliation you have a lot of options with an army like this. Put the smaller squads in reserve, bring them in at spots that are far away/in good cover, Night Fighting, Writhing Worldscape can help protect. It depends on the table/terrain, when they come in and what other conditions are present. It's a big game of giving/taking KPs
@mp29940 He has a ton of mobility - Jetbikes, Scarabs with beast charge/fleet, Deep Striking/Infiltrating Flayed Ones and a Veil of Darkness for teleporting any squad anywhere on the table. Scarab Swarms are damn good if you can hold on to them which is what his Tomb Blades are for, to soak up fire meant for them with a 2+ invulnerable save. This is the biggest mistake most players are making right now, they see Necron lists and say "LOL NO TRANSPORT SPAM??" which is really shortsighted
I'm sorry Fritz but I have to disagree with most of the tactics you said. I'm not one to critic - a few yrs ago i bought your how to win @ 40k pdf which was great. But turning to the choices you made and tactics you discussed in this video I dont agree. Of course this is my opinion and thumbs up for the video ( as i really like all your vids - always looking for the immortal words "more to come" ). My choices, Wraiths, Zahndrekh, Annihilation Barges,Royal court with lances. I can email u my list
@Gregorious926 no i wanted to support him cause i like his videos and site. IMO it was worth it. I just really disagree most things he said in his new necron videos.
the old tactic of putting the lord with the scarabs wouldnt work anymore, since scarabs are beasts now right? and indipendant characters cant join units of beasts :(
cool to finally hear newcron tactics etc now, my local store dosnt have any cron players so when we go to tournaments / campaign days we dont know what to expect >.< you should also consider a redeployment list, the hq that lets you redeploy d3 and monoliths to teleport is very annoying!

I think that the problem with this list is "annihilation" you have too many weak units...
