love DEATHANGEL this band has been thrashin for 30 yrs .early 80s was their peak just like all the oldschool 80s thrashmeta which i must say was the best era of thrashmetal bands to come out ever...so support this shit two thumbs up for DEATHANGEL.
@Tombking2 they probably do. i was just trying to say back then we didn't have the web. so for most bands like this people found out about your group from word of mouth, seeing other bands or a demo tape copy. i haven't been to a concert in years. thats cool that bands still do that. thats how i found out about a lot of bands and metal magazines helped then. thats how i learned about celtic frost they are cool too. slower more death metal like but quirky.
When The Ultra Violence came out, everybody agreed that these guys had taken it up a notch. This is what we lived for back in the day. What band was gonna come out next and blow our minds?
Metal Blade, Noise, Combat, Relativity, Roadrunner, and the rest and the coming Relapse, Earache, Century Media, and etc wave was an era of metal breakthrough and innovation that sadly has really been improved on.
