  • Many thanks for doing Robert Plant's solo stuff. This made my day. I'd love to hear your take on the solo in Heaven Knows.

  • sweet

  • Please do a video for Moonlight in Samosa!

  • So glad you did this - would love to see you do more of Robbie Blunt's songs... Moonlight In Samosa, Slow Dancer, anything off the first two albums!!!! Bravo!

  • Holy balls... So, I've been thinking about learning this for quite a while, and the opening lead stuff isn't too rough. I was thinking, "hey, I can knock this out in a few minutes in time for tea." Then I saw you play the second lead break. Damnit. Guess it might take until dinner...

  • I'm digging the Plant solo stuff. Blunt is/was a very underated guitarist.

  • great job on te song! You should play "The song remains the same", i have been stuck with that song for so long. I bet if anyone can rock the balls out of that it would be you.

  • Another killer job tricker on one of my ol faves. I remember waiting by my radio to hear the first play of the first music of the voice of Zeppelin. I was not disappointed. This song freakin rocks.

Your stuff is a big help to all us pickers.

  • @deadluvva Remember all the rumors when this song first came out? In the promo clip, there's a shot of a guitar player with his head wrapped up like a mummy, and that started the rumor that it was actually Jimmy Page playing guitar on this song. Those silly rumors existed even back in the days before the Internet!

  • @privettricker

    I never heard that rumor.

Just hearin that voice was enough for me.

    Nice to hear from you.

  • @privettricker I remember those rumors too... I discovered Robbie Blunt, and have been a fan ever since. I have a fan group on FB for him. Check it out!

  • This is one of your more gooder ones. Nice job!

  • @goldroad7 Thanks!

  • Great job

  • @CassandraAntares Give this one a try, it's a blast to play it.

  • Nice cover PT

  • I wonder what Jimi would think if he knew what his money grubbing half sister has done? Reminds me of that old joke," why are a Digger Wasp and Yoko Ono alike? They both live off of dead Beatles!".

  • @angela21215 I don't really do anything with them. In fact, I don't even have most of the banned recordings, because I just deleted them, which is probably what they deserved. :)

  • @privettricker do you still have the battle of evermore video?.because i had an idea.what about uploading it again with a different or abbreviated title, in 02 files.one file:the video with you playing it.and a second file with the audio only (the audio of you playing the video without the original in the background or with the original in the background with the volume really, really low just to act like a metronome).

  • if you have the right pedals, you should made a cover of 'Castles made of sand'

  • @oiergasdn Read the comments re: Hendrix songs.

  • @privettricker oh, didn't see that. thank you.

  • Great! Thanks for the tune.

  • That sucks about the Jimi vids. I have 4 now that are noted as "content id matches" they have been like that for a long time now, though. It's really dumb the way the do it. (wonder it it is software that detects certain songs?) I uploaded a new version of DL's Bringing OTH with more of the backing orig track and only then did it get noted as a content id match!

  • Nice! One of my fav's from RP. -great playing as usual!!

  • You made my day P.T...... Thanks..How about more this great record!!

  • Cool riff and killer job on the solo!

  • I'd be curious to learn if the actual musicians ever contact/email you.

If I were Robert Plant, Page, etc. and I watched you playing my song, I'd be inclined to email you what I thought to pass along a compliment.

  • .the solo you did was improvised or you were following the original?because i really liked that minor 6th you threw into that G minor pentatonic.the note im talking about is the D#(2nd string 4th fret).

  • Nice Cover. Who is the guitarist on the original recording?

  • @guitarDad100 That's Robbie Blunt. He stuck around through the Shaken n' Stirred album/tour, left before Now and Zen.

  • can you do a little wing cover? im trying to learn it myself but its pretty tough would like to hear it from you

  • @tingly7654321 Won't be doing any Hendrix. YouTube deleted all my Hendrix songs because of copyright violations.

  • @privettricker damn.. thats some bullshit man was wondering why you didnt have any hendrix songs

  • what albums do you get your robert plant songs from?

  • @chasedd22 I don't know what you mean. This one's on his first album.

  • good job, but am I hearing the same progression 1 step higher?? (double tracked guitar)???

  • Great job !!

  • excellent as always. could you list all your banned videos.and what are you gonna do with them?thanks!

  • Great tune you picked; good job.
