  • Happy 95th birthday to you Kirk Douglas (9th december 2011)

  • 1:19 Whoa, whoa, whoa! Is that Susan Hayward?

  • this guy got a lot of pussy in his day!

  • What movie did Kirk Douglas said "Shall we get wet?"

  • it is obvious Kirk Douglas is a Reptilian as well as his son.The Illuminati agenda has crippled this planet for way too long. The New World Order is not approaching - it IS happening right now.Any one too blind to see what the Grays have predicted eons ago as far as human enslavement has no eyes and is using their reptilian brain.Wake up people! How long are we going to allow them to control our every movement!

  • @oxytrebor

Give it a break. UTube is not the proper forum. There are others, where I might even agree with you. But not here.

  • kirk douglas is a living legend

  • I'M SPARTACUS

  • I'm Spartacus!

  • I meant to say what Kirk Douglas said "Shall we get wet?"

  • What show did Kirk Douglas said "You want to get wet?"

  • Its a crime he has never won a oscar after all the great rolls hes had

  • You know that Kirk is number 17 on the top 100 greatest male actors of all time. He's also one of only two of the top 25 people that are still alive, the other being Sidney Poitier, who is number 22. The weird thing about this is the fact that of the top 25 greatest female stars of all time have three representatives living, Shirley Temple, Lauren Bacall, and Sophia Loren, numbers 18 (Temple), 20 (Bacall), and 21 (Loren) respectively. If my info is incorrect, please let me know.

  • @joshuabrooks21 Yes, I knew that, and it is correct, except for when you say top 100 greatest male actors. AFI (American Film Institute) made a list of the top 50 legends, 25 male and 25 female. Otherwise, you are 100% correct. He is really old, though. Older than the Queen, Betty White, and Gerald Ford when he died (he was the oldest-living president).

  • greatest film actor ever

  • I am a great fan of Kirk Douglas and in my opinion he was robbed of a well deserved Oscar for his great performance in "Lust for Life" I am also a fan of Tony Quinn, but I am baffled as to why he won an award while Kirk was ignored! In anycase thats all long ago now so what prompted me to post a comment was after reading Kirks latest and last book, 90 years of living, loving and learning. I found this book very touching, to sense the manner in which a man of Kirks age views life was fascinating.

  • Esse realmente era bom demais.

  • Kirk, I will love you until the day that I die! Even if you live to be 100. I love that dimple in your chin and I love the contributions you have made to filmdom. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

  • Does anyone know what film it is at 1:27? I would REALLY like to know. Thanks!

  • I can see why Joe Flaherty played him on sctv.

  • I love this guy.

  • but as all as we will live, i am spartisorease

  • but as all as we will live, i am spartisorease

  • Love him. Loved his autobio, "The Ragman's Son" too.

  • 92! get off! This guy don't a day past 49.

  • its because this is an old video.

  • Talented, versatile and durable, with a great sense of humour, Kirk is either lucky or has carefully picked his rôles, for I have never seen him in a rotten film. He has looked after himself physically, and still looks good at 92. But when he does eventually depart, we still have his son who resembles Dad in so many ways that sometimes, when Kirk sees a shot of a film on TV and thinks, "I don't remember being in that movie", he finds he is actually watching Michael!

  • Wonderful...makes me want to meet him and tell him I ain't no goody goody. Also I want to see that academy awards bit with him and Burt.

  • The most prolific actor of all time, infinite movies and the most of them greats.

  • love it

  • a legendary actor and a great person, god bless you Mr. Douglas. letsfaceitbook, What year was that?

  • That was lovely...thanks for posting it. :c) All time great bloke and a hero of mine since I was a little kid.

    Cactus Jack...hahahaha..brilliant...totally brilliant!

  • One of the truly greats. Wonderful in everything. For me, "Lonely Are the Brave" is his absolute best movie. Oscar performance and meaningful script.

  • Kirk has to be one of the best actors to have ever lived...

  • @dinker333 You'r talking like he was dead.

  • j'ai lu sa biographie, quel bonhomme !

  • I'd like to thank 'letsfacitbook' (great name) for the tiny moment. I have been a 'fan' of Kirk Douglas for many years and have come to respect him, not only as an actor, but also as a man of personal courage.

The fleeting moment of him and Burt Lancaster singing 'I'm not nomiated' I had never seen before. Could tell me where you found that clip, because I'd sure like to watch it in full.

Thanks for the 2.53 minutes. Enjoyed it.

  • amazing man - lovin it !!

  • No, I'M Spartacus!

    Kirk Douglas is awesome.

  • Top guy. The son of a rag man. What presence. If Spartacus does not emotionally affect you. You have no soul especially the ending when he has been crucified. Thank you Kirk, loved you in the Vikings too!!

  • gee, thanks for telling me what happens, asshole

  • No, he defeated the Roman empire... Wow, he publicly opposed the Romans. WTH did you think happened to him?

    Read a damn history book.
