Thanks Jimi! You're sure right about that. I've seen some of the natural flow restoration that they've been doing in the Kissimmee River basin.... not bad. They're supposed to be restoring the natural flows in other places as well. We'll see about that. I ain't holding my breath!

I hear that they're restoring a huge chunk of land at the south end of the lake, near South Bay. Supposedly gonna dig out the cane fields and flood them. But F.P.L. (F'n People n Loving it) is building a huge power plant right next to the Loxahatchee Wildlife Reserve, which will destroy the natural habitat and the ground water, Now, they want more land at Turkey Point for storing their nuclear waste in above ground containers. One step forward...Two steps back. But don't give up hope. Jam On!!

Good one man. I'm learning to play guitar myself, and this is one of the songs my teacher gave me to practice. I can play the chords well enough, but I cannot get the strum pattern right, nor can I sing the song while playing. My stumming goes nuts and I get all confused and lose myself. Can you message me some advice?

Thanks Daruni. My best advice would be to do a strait strum on the downbeat, just as if you were going to tap your feet straight through a song. It takes practice to separate what your voice and fingers are doing. If that's still a little tough, try singing and and clapping a straight beat without any guitar first. You can change your strum pattern later after you're more comfortable. Guitar legend BB King can't sing and play at the same time, so take heart! Good Luck!
