Brilliant job of the remastering! But I have to ask, was anyone else extremely miffed that the most wonderful Doctor of them all was replaced by a gripping, whining, coward? He had his moments, there's no denying, but he was remarkably hard to like. Anyway, thank you for your upload, it made me cry afresh.

It's rather weird for me to hear any other Doctor regenerating with Vale Dacem in the background, specifically cause Vale Dacem means "Farewell Ten", so it seems quite off to me.

Nevertheless, it suits the video as a piece of music but if you understand what the music means, it doesn't have the full effect it should have.

Aside from that, this is some pretty good work!!

the original regeneration sequence had Adric, Tegan, Nyssa and Turlough and even Kamelion calling for the 5th Doctor, saying he was needed, not to die. The Master was telling him to die. I always thought have the companions in there saying "Brave heart", "You mustn't die, Doctor" made it even more depressing. I can barely ever watch Caves of Androzani, because Five is the Doctor I grew up with, he is my favorite and is the best Doctor. his regeneration always makes me cry to no end. Nice work!

@PinkPunkGirl80 Funny... it's the reason I love to watch the show... it is SO sad... basically the entire story... the Doctor just can't get a break... and ultimately chooses his own death to save his companion... it SHOULD be sad...

That said - this is a good modern interpretation... to fit in with the modern WHO...
