they aint little creatures trust me lol i know because my uncle who is 23 now when he was 13-20 he had about 200 snakes and 2 anacondas he had alot of big snakes i have 11 snake now
yeah.about how big did he make them.bcuz they would have to be about as big as my living room[which is big] bcuz they grow up to 30+ ft each and together they need alot of space.
It takes a few years for them to get that big, so you'd step up the cage size over time. He has a reptile zoo and the facilities to house the animals as they grow.
oh.thats cool.ive always thot about getting a green andaconda but i wold have no where to put the tank and i dont know what i would feed it.i mean it could easily eat my huge english bulldog which is huge.lol
@xMyStErYxSkAtErx 30ft is a stretch. it would take about 15 years for a female to get around 17 feet. you only see 30 footers in the wild. And males dont get over 10 ft. No one in america has kept an anoconda in captivity that long. (excluding zoo's) The largest anaconda in captivity right now , living in someones house, is like 15ft. Retics get longer, but anacondas are fatasses. A 15ft pry weighs about 800 pounds.
i kno what they eat in their "natural" environment but what do u feed a full grown one in captivity? i read that one zoo feeds them frozen rats isnt that not close to bein enough...considerin they eat like deer, other snakes etc in the wild?
It's water. They live in an extremely humid environment, spending most of their lives close to or in the water. So the substrate is kept moist and a soaking tub is available when they want to submerse themselves.
is that an animal plastics enclousure

When they're fully grown in captivity is common to feed them large rabbits or baby sacrified pigs
