Maybe I'm wrong, but the opening credits seem to be using the soundtrack which sounds a lot like the opening of Forbidden Planet. It doesn't seem to carry all of it,....but it sure sounds a lot like it.

The original critiques are far exagerated. This flick isn't nearly as bad as they let on. The ending is weird. It's like the producers ran out of time, film, and money to actually land and Recreate the Procreation. So, yes... It is silly - and the ending sucks.

@alvinwren Yes it is---many movies of the 50s and early 60s would use soundtracks from previous films as well as models of space ships and stuff EX; the 70s Battlestar Galactia used film shots of the ships from SILIENT RUNNING; The 60s twilight zone used lots of props and uniforms from Forbidden Planet and later ST used the sound effects for the bridge from old Twilight zone esps.

Good Sci Fi fantasy ideas and concepts...bad movie. A rewrite and a real budget, you could go a little 2001 S.O, fix up the ending. Stylize it like that era of film, more sex...crazy stuff.
