i am a superfrick of silent hill, but i got only respect 4 sh#1 n' sh#2 the others ones was maded in usa soil, american co. asocieted with conami, thats mean those people doesnt have respect for silent hill is or was back to centralia, pa. they just want to sell n' explote our feellings becouse they know wherever silent hill comming, we will going to buy the game, good or bad.
number5 was the worse, we were playing a maniac soldier with posttramatic war estress who kill his owne kid brother.
Fake opening? This is not an opening. Or what was you expecting? that all the people that see your "opening" say: "Wow! all the characters of previous Silent Hill will be in the part 5"?? You should use any other name for this video (and other type)
Who ever though this was a trailer? God, he has clips of Silent Hill 1. And what company makes a video with ordinary yellow text? God, if you ever though this was a trailer, then you're a dumbass.
This is the story so far: "Your Alex Shepherd, a war veteran who returns home from an overseas tour of duty to find that his father, and later his younger brother, Joshua, have disappeared, and his mother has gone insane. Alex begins to search for his brother, leading him to Silent Hill after searching his hometown of Shepherd's Glen, where he will have to go through real world areas covered in fog, and also the "Otherworld" version of the same maps."
I think they all are great horror game and really made SH what it is today. I just liked the first story more because it's a heroic story with characters that have their own role involved with the story. The other parts, most of the characters are random, such as Eddie, Angela from SH2. But overall, great games
All the parts are great and scary in the SH series. I personally liked the first story because it's more interesting and makes you wonder, plus the characters backgrounds was detailed. The second was great too, but the story is just isn't as great because it's a dead person testing her husband, but Pyramid Head FTW!!! Third part was great do to the fact that it connected to the first one. Four was ok, it is scary with the ghosts flying around, but the story is just about some maniac murderer.
Hm ... can't really agree with that ... sure, SH4 the Room is really good, but it's not as terrifying as the other 3 before ... although the big Eileen head and the ghosts in the room really scared me O_o
And SH4 doesn't take place in Silent Hill (most of the game), that was a bit disappointing. But it has a good story and gameplay, that's for sure.
True, SH4 was not even meant to be a SH in the first place, but then they took it in as one and connected it to the other series. The gameplay and environments are not as spooky as the others. It's not 3-D walking mode and the setting isn't dark. Although the monster are scary
SH1 and SH3 is both good, the reason why SH3 was good is because it was connected to SH1 (the first one that made SH such a great series). Inplus, SH didn't screwed up Heather like how RE does Jill and others such as slutty outfits half naked running around town full of creatives.
I saw the Making of Silent Hill 3. Heather didn't even was supposed to wear a skirt. The first idea was to give her a jeans, but the girls in Konami thought a skirt would be a better idea ^^
I did'nt like SH3... weak story just living on the first and boring characters... and the fact that they killed of Harry Mason, I'll never forgive them for that... nah, SH2 and 4 are better thanks to a more psychologically (spelling is'nt my good thing) horryfying... and the games must'nt take place in Silent Hill, just have a connection to it. SH3 is just plays out there in the ending anyways... well, atleast less than half of it...

then goes SH4(boy),SH2(girl and bed monster), Sh3(blonde), SH4(last boss), sh1(blonde cop till couple), sh3, sh2,sh1, blahblah...
only good thing is that I heard the song again :D otherwise Id REMOVE the yellow letters man

yes it is from the movie but was the theme song for the Silent Hill 3 game, Akira Yamaoka sings it...it's on the Silent Hill 3 Sountrack
