is it crazy to be in love, with a dead man? i feel so strongly about jb, and his work, that i am certain we are caught up in the same reincarnation family; and then, in a more distant fashion, all of us. perhaps in another life, we use the same train station, or attend the same schools, or churches--but never meet.
Jeff was training in Qawwali, the devotional music of the Sufis, with Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan before he died.
Theres a wonderful conversation in Interview Magazine between the two performers, which demonstrated the depth of their connection and respect for each other as artists.
You can hear the influence on this track, Jeff had the vocal range to accommodate the training, had he lived their compilations would have been epic.

I love this song so much. It moves me in so many ways. I cried the first time I heard it. I could listen to it all day.
