I witness that while singing with headphones on I sound a mess! but with out 'em I can hear myself and I sound so nice! So I feel you on that. I think it's because you can't hear the resonance in your voice when it's things louder than you around. I don't know but I feel you! How exactly do they play that loud music in concerts though. I remember being at one and the bass was SOOO LOUD lol.
