Now that is what I call true music, bunch of people sitting around with instruments, playing and singing like no tomorrow. Even more amazing that it sounds identical to their published version on their CD. No computers there, pure talent!
Hi Guys.....Mike Madigan from the Sharecroppers here..on sabbatical in USA Pennsylvania area. Have you been out here? Great spot. Keep up the good stuff. Hello MikeMcD...you still lose 10 pounds during concerts?? haha All the best...Mike of the triple w thesharecroppers dot n e t
Hey there sillybutton... found it on "The Session" as "The Boys Of Ballysodare"... thanks for your help. Like you said, slightly different version but it's enough to get me going with what I already learned by ear.
Thanks so much for posting this great live-in-the-house version. This song went thru my head for months after my first visit to Newfoundland in 2001. I think it affected my head too, because I moved here 2 years later! Rock on, b'ys!
Thanks all for your great comments!

Some of the best musicians in Newfoundland. It's a shame D'Arcy Broderick isn't playing with them now....he had that huge voice. Great bunch of guys.
