She reminds me of Beverly Crusher from Star Trek. Of course both are smokin' even now. Juice has 1 of the finest set of pipes in the industry as well.
It's about meeting a person, and giving in to instincts. Deciding to be together for one night, and accepting that it won't last, but you had one night of love. I think most people over 20 have done that.
@stucoralle It's about a woman who is with a man all night. She wants him to wake up and call her his "angel" (a Christian image) before he gets on with his day. She makes it clear in the song that even if she has "sinned" (a Christian idea), she has made the choice deliberately. The lyrics have overtones of feminism, with a strong woman who has chosen her destiny, but who still wants to be treated with care by a man. :)
I like Merilee rush's version, but Juice Newton really drives this song home for me. (The Pretenders also did a great cover in the '90s.) Another original Newton improves upon is "Break it to Me Gently" -- that recording is beyond comparsion. Brend aLee is great, but Newton's rendition is the best I've heard.
