for everyone that says sidd was a fictional character, your half right, the name changed. but the person was based off their actual friend, Dino. he died of brain cancer and asked his dad to empty the pool for him before he died so the z-boys could skate. so i just wanna say

I was 14 or 15 when I first saw this movie, and was completely oblivious at the time to how awesome the soundtrack was. Bowie, T. Rex, Funkadelic, Thom Yorke singing Wish You Were Here...

And then Mitch Hedberg had a role acting in the film itself. Arguably one of the greatest comics who ever lived. RIP.
